The boy washed his face, just to relieve himself from his recent dreams. It was a nice dream, but he just want to wake up from it. After drying his face with a towel, he looked at the mirror before him. His expression is still the same; emotionless eyes that lost their lively spark long time ago after..-

He shook his head, wanting to forget that memory. He looked at himself again but this time; he's not alone. There's always this entity stood next to this boy, it was nothing but a black ghost with one eye staring at him. It stayed like that for a good while until-

"𝙳𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚋𝚕𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏..?"

He jumped slightly, he was so used to it just staring at him while the creepy silence surrounded around them until it left, but never expected the thing to speak up. His face is now showing both confusion and scared.

"𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝?" He asked, confused with what the entity just said.

"𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝚒𝚝'𝚜 𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚘𝚗 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚊 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛 𝚋𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚘 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕 𝚊 𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚐𝚞𝚒𝚕𝚝." It responded. The boy is getting shaky, what is it talking about..? What guilt..?

"𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗...?" He asked the entity then it consumed him whole, bringing the bad memories.

That's right, he remembered this..The memory of his older sister, Mari...THE ACCIDENT.

"𝐈 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥-!!"

"𝐎𝐇, 𝐒𝐎 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐆𝐎𝐃𝐃𝐀𝐌𝐍 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐍 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐆𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄?!"

The fight between an older sister and a younger brother is heated, like two cats fighting over something. Sunny couldn't take this anymore, his head is throbbing so badly with pain from the fight and he did the unthinkable; he roughly pushed Mari too hard that she slipped and reached the very bottom of the stairs. When he opened his eyes, he was shocked.

"𝐌-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢..?"

He slowly walked down the stairs, laughing nervously.

"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐛-𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜-𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐧𝐨𝐰..𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝...𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐚.."

The more he came down, his heart sunk so deep. His sister..is not moving and there's blood too. He tried shaking her but to no avail. He felt his tears coming as he shook the eldest violently.

"𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈, 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏. 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐘..."

The more he tried to wake Mari up, it was useless. She's really dead, now Sunny felt horrible...Then he saw his friend, Basil.

"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢! 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢-"

Then he saw her corpse, he looked at it with wide eyes then screamed.

"𝐎-𝐎𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐝!! 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝..?!"

"𝐈-𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐈-𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨..!! 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝..𝐚𝐧𝐝..."

Basil was stunned to hear on what his friend just said; did he accidentally killed his sister..? Instead of screaming at him, he comforted him.

"𝐒𝐡𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐡..𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲...𝐈'𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐈'𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.."

"𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫...𝐈 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝-"

"𝐒𝐡𝐡𝐡𝐡..."

It may feel uncomfortable because Mari's corpse is still there but it's the least that the boy can do to help him calm down. They sat there for 2 or 3 minutes before looking at her dead body.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐫..?"

The two wondered two things; either tell this to the police or wipe the evidence out of existence. They obviously can't explain to the police; Sunny would face the cruel consequences while ending up in Juvenile Hall if they do that, so Basil had an idea.

"𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝?"

Sunny looked at him while wiping his tears.

"𝐘-𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚..?"

Basil just nodded with a sad smile so they did their plan. But when they finished, Sunny was the only one alone as he turned to look at his friend who was beside him to talk to him.

"𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥..? 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮..-"

He then felt a hand gripping on his shoulder and he yelp in surprise then look who did it and felt like jelly when he saw his sister's corpse, looking at him with anger in her eyes.

"Ｔｈｅ ａｃｃｉｄｅｎｔ．．."
