Chapter 8

My senior year has been going great so far , but what I can't stand is the attention I get from being linked to Jay . I've always had guys asking me to put them on with my dad and girls befriending me to get with my older brothers , but now I have girls I've never spoken to in my life telling me about what they've done in the past with King and saying I'm not good enough to be with him. I don't really care because they're in the past and I can't hold him for how he was and what he did before I came around . Anyways , I was in my last class since I left 7th period which is gym. Although I played sports I HATE gym, but I have this class with Chloe and Allison. Out of everyone , they've been around the longest and i love them like sisters. and all of our parents are close so that's a plus.
As soon as the bell rang we left to go to Five Guys. Once we sat down to eat we started talking about anything. After a while Chloe sighed and said she had to tell me something.
" what is it "
"weeellll" she started " I was lurking
"as always "
" I'm serious, anyways I was lurking and I saw a post about how this girl is pregnant by your boo and how she's sick of him not acting like he loves her.
" don't play with me "
"you know I wouldn't lie"

Sure enough was telling the truth. I was trying so hard to keep my cool. I'm fine with him having messed with girls in the past , but when it interferes with our future then I have a problem . Instead of cursing him out off the rip I invited him over tonight so we could talk. He said he needed to talk to me about something but if it has anything to do with Ty .. I don't want to talk about it.

As soon as he got to my house my dad had to "discuss the organization" with him. He always does this and it pisses me off but that's my dad so I don't say anything. When he finally got to me he had pizza and pasta bowls from dominoes I have no idea where they came from but I dont care.
He tried to kiss me and I swerved him. I know I was probably being extra but I'm not showing him any affection until I'm clear about what going on.
" what's up with you "

"what's up with you " I said I know I was being petty but I didnt care .

"stop playing b what's going on" he said while rubbing my leg.

I frowned and moved to the chair that was at my vanity. I adjusted myself so one foot was in the chair and the other was dangling , leaned on my vanity and starting talking while he sat on the edge of my bad and I began talking .

" alright soooo when were you gonna tell me you had a kid on the way Jeffery"

he just sighed and ran his hand over his face.

" so we're just gonna ignore my question?" I started to shake my leg and the fact that he didn't start explaining pissed me off even more.

" you hungry ? I got you a pa--"

" okay you can leave "
" I can leave ? "
"yeah , bye get out"

He laughed at me and took a slice of pizza out of the box. Fucking Asshole. It took everything in me not to take the pizza and throw it out the window but I stayed as calm as I could. Finally
he answered me.
" I was messing with some shawty from Brownsville , and she called me telling me she was pregnant and she--"

" is she ? is it yours ? "

" if you let me finish my damn sentence you would know "

" finish "

" I plan on taking her to get a real test done to be sure , if she is there's a possibility that it's mine but it also couldn't be . I don't know"

" how many months is she ? did you cheat on me ? "

" 4 or 5 and no , you know I wouldn't do that . "

After that we sat in silence , he didn't even leave until my dad called for a meeting. Honestly I don't know what to feel. I want to trust him and believe that we'll be able to be together once this baby is born if it's his but it's obvious that this girl likes the thrill of causing strife in relationships and I'm not one to deal with foolishness. Hopefully this doesn't pull us apart and cause a huge problem between us. I just know once word gets out about this baby I'm gonna be looking lowkey stupid. But that leads to a question I have to ask myself: is it worth it for him ?
