All Good Things ( Urban )

Chapter II

As she drove home , speakers blasting HiiiJack by SZA, she couldn't help but think about " King". More specifically his voice. She felt as if she'd heard it before, but just a little bit closer to home as she would have liked. She was so deep in thought that she hadnt realized she had driven past the street that she lived on and needed to make a U-turn. she simply sighed and arrived home a 5 minutes later.

Upon entering her house, the initial plan was to shower and then sleep but just as she layed down, she got a call from Matikaah.

"Open the door"

"Ring the bell" she said

"comee onnnnnnn its hot out here" Matikaah, asked almost begging at this point

Hearing someone talking at the front door , Kalani's younger brother Kristian recognized it as a voice that he had loved oh so much. He went to open the door and greeted Matikaah with a " hey baby " and was quickly shot down with a reply of " move little boy, im sure you got some leggos and half naked barbies that need attention." He surrendered and she moved on to greet Kalani's parents , who were basically hers too seeing as she had been around since the girls were 4. Matikaah arrived to Kae's roomed and wasted no time before she slid into bed and was asleep less than 10 minutes later.

This was completely fine with Kalani because she had been beyond tired.

The next morning Kalani was awakened by " One In a Million " by Aaliyah blasting through her beats pill and the horrible singing of Matikaah, Cailen, and Anayah. She figured that the other 2 had arrived this morning.

" yall do realize that you sound like dying yorkies right ?" she said to the girls.

" you do realize that you still aint made daddy breakfast yet right?" Cailen said , using her best impression of a mans voice.

Kalani just replied with her middle finger and made her way to her bathroom to shower. The girls decided that they would just go to Queens that day and visit the Ave, primarily
for the food and the guys. After a few hours of eating , conversing , and a bit of shopping , the girls decided that they would go to Taka Taka in Soho, one of their favorite places to eat despite the fact that they each had eaten more than once on the ave.

Before eating the girls decided to walk around in Soho for a while before eating. Not even 40 minutes later , they had each aquired one too many bags for them to carry by themsleves and decided against going to get more food. Just as they had gotten to her car , she got a call from Kelsey, a girl she'd gotten close to during her junior year.

"hey Kels" she said.

"heyyy you busy ?'

"kinda, im with the girls , whats up?"

"wellll im having a party tonight and you know i need you guys here" Kelsey said , almost in a begging tone.

"okay we'll be there around 8 "

" thanks ! love you bye"

Kalani laughed to herself as she hung up the phone. She knew Kelsey was up to something , she always was but she was curious to find out what it was this time.
