Chapter 2

**BELLE'S POV**

No, I can't like Drew, I like Jack. I realized a couple of my books were still on the ground, I bent down to pick them up.

The bell rang.

I looked for my classroom and I found it. I guess I was late because everyone was in their sits.

"Class, this is our new student, Belle."

I waved to the class.

"You can sit next to Drew in the back."

"Okay." I say.

I sit in my chair, and my teacher starts talking about how to control our powers.

"Hey." Drew says.

"Hey," I say back to him.

"This might be kind of a shock, me being popular, when I kinda annoyed you when we were little kids."

"Yea, it kinda is." I say.

"I just wanted to say sorry for annoying you when we were little kids."

"It's Okay," I say.

"Mr. Heat, is there something you'd like to share with the class?" The teacher said.

"Uh, no ma'am." He smiled at me and I smiled back.

The rest of the class period I begged that he wouldn't be in all my classes, but he was. The rest of the day I tried to avoid him, and it worked just fine. School was over and I used my dad's snowglobe to open the portal.

"Hey honey, how was school." My dad said.

"Oh, um it was fine." I responded back.

I went into my room, and started on homework.
