Chapter 5

**BELLE'S POV**

"Anyway Jack, I would love to show you around school," Courtney said, ugh.

"Um that's okay, I kinda know my way around now."

"Okay," She said and walked off.

"So Belle, do you want to show me around?" He asked.

"But I thought you told Courtney you already know your way around."

"I said kinda, and I wanted YOU to show me around." I blushed and smiled at him.

"Okay class, get back to your seats." The teacher said.

When the class was over I showed Jack around school and we had lunch together and I introduced him to Grace.

"He's really cute," Grace whispered to me.

"Thank you," Jack said and I giggled but Grace blushed looking embarrassed.

School was over and I waited outside for Jack, I tried avoiding Drew and it worked. I didn't want Jack to find out about the kiss.

"Hey," Jack said running over to me.

"Hey, okay let's go," I said as I grabbed the snowglobe.

"I thought we could do something more fun," He grinned and I knew what it was, flying.

"Don't! Let! Go!" I yelled as the wind was blowing through my hair.

**JACK'S POV**

"I never do!" I yelled. She looked beautiful as the wind was blowing through her hair. We landed at the workshop and Bunny was waiting outside.

"Where were you two?! You were supposed to come home 20 minutes ago!" Bunny said.

"We decided to go flying instead," Belle said.

"And Jack, since when did you go to school?" Bunny asked.

"Um... Since today," Jack said.

We passed Bunny and went up to my room to do homework. Luckily, we finished, but I helped Jack do his homework.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked him.

"Let's go outside, we can play in the snow."

I look up to hear a knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in!" I yell.

It was Tooth and she had a bouquet of flowers in her hand. They were all red roses.

"Belle! These are for you! Aren't they beautiful! You are so lucky!" Tooth was pretty excited.

I grabbed the bouquet of flowers in my hand and started examining them.

"Who are these from?" I asked.

**JACK'S POV**

"They're from Drew, isn't that just romantic." Tooth said.

I should have known it was Drew, he does have feelings for her.

Tooth left the room and Belle was still looking at the flowers.

"Belle?"

"Yeah?" She said looking up at me.

"Belle! Can you help me with my papers!" It was North.

"Okay dad! Sorry." She said.

I laid on her bed, I wanted to ask her if we were boyfriend and girlfriend. At least I'll know Drew doesn't have a chance. I grabbed the. bouquet of roses and examined them. There was a note, I picked it up and read it aloud.

"Dear Belle,

Sorry about the kiss, I hope this present can make you forgive me.

-Drew "

Kiss! What kiss!? I suddenly became angry and jealous. Belle didn't tell me anything about a kiss between her and Drew. I walked down the hallway and bumped into Belle.

"Jack? Are you okay?" She asked me.

"No, I'm not okay!"

"What's wrong?" She asked, but now a worried tone to her voice.

"This!" I showed her the note and she read it quietly.

"Jack I swear it was only to have Courtney to stop hurting me!"

"A kiss doesn't help stop bullying last time I checked!" I was furious now.

"He kissed me! He told Courtney that I was his girlfriend for her to stop!"

"Oh, so now you're his girlfriend!?" I threw the note on the floor.

"No, I'm not! Jack please believe me!" There were tears in her eyes now.

"I don't think I can. You didn't tell me about the kiss, or about you and Drew. That's what you were hiding yesterday! The kiss!"

"Yes it was! But you know what you do have a cold heart! You don't believe the girl that loves you! Maybe I should be with Drew!" She went to her bedroom and locked the door.

I slammed my head on the wall, how could I be so stupid.

Maybe Drew does deserve her after all.
