Accidents Happen (Little Soobin)

Little: Soobin (Age: 6)

Caregivers: TXT, mostly Yeonjun and Beomgyu

Beomgyu POV

Being a parent is stressful.

If this is what I have to deal with I do NOT want to have any kids of my own.

Soobin has been running around all day, basically tearing up the place. Yeonjun and I have been trying to keep our patience with him, but after his third time turning over the trashcan, I couldn't hold back.

"Choi Soobin! What has gotten into you today?!", I yelled.

He stopped and stared at me.

"You have been throwing this tantrum all day! Do you want to be put in timeout?"

He shook his head at me, "No! I don't want to go in timeout!"

"Then you have to listen baby.", said Yeonjun, "Can you be good for us?"

Soobin sighed before dropping his toy on the ground angrily.

"No! Meanies!"

He ran away, leaving us both in shock.

"Did he just call us meanies?", asked Yeonjun.

"Yeah. But why? We haven't done anything."

Yeonjun sighed before sitting at the kitchen island.

"We need to figure out what is wrong."

"You're right.", I replied, "Maybe we-"

My words were cut short by a scream from upstairs.

"Oww! Oww!"

Yeonjun and I ran upstairs going as fast as possible. We burst into Soobin and Kai's shared room to see Soobin on the floor, holding his arm.

"Baby what happened?!", I asked concerned.

Soobin just continued to cry.

Yeonjun moved in closer to him.

"Did you hurt your arm sweetie?"

Soobin looked up at him with a pout.

"You're gonna yell at me!", he said, "Like you yell at NingNing!"

Yeonjun and I looked at each other. We now understood why Soobin was acting this way.

Yeonjun POV

I realized in that moment what was going on.

Soobin wasn't throwing a tantrum, he was just mad at us and trying to tell us.

Earlier today we had practice as a group, and we kept having messups. Once, Kai tripped over Taehyun and fell. I got so angry because they had messed up so much already.

I didn't realize that me yelling at Kai would upset Soobin so much. When Beomgyu agreed with me, it made Soobin even angrier.

I looked at the crying boy on the floor.

"I'm so sorry Soobin. I was just stressed out earlier. I didn't mean to yell at NingNing."

He wiped his eyes and started to stand up.

Beomgyu walked up to him and gave him a hug.

"We're both sorry. How about we go back to the studio and apologize to NingNing and Taehyun for the way we acted?"

Soobin, still pouting, picked up one of Kai's plushies.

"I'm going to give this to him.", he said, smiling cutely.

Beomgyu and I held his hands as we walked back downstairs and out of the building.

From now on I had to remind myself, never yell at anyone infront of Little Soobin.
