ED 4: Eijiro Kirishima

*Third POV*

Today was a very special day. Well for some, but for others it was very miserable. You see, today is Valentine's Day, which meant love, couples, and valentines gifts. And some couldn't help but hate the day as they always spent it alone.

"Happy Valentines day everyone!", Mina shouted running into the class. "Happy Valentines day to you too, Mina!", Y/n chuckled at the excited girl. "Hey Y/n! Do you have a Valentine? Oh! I also got you something since you are my best friend!", Mina said catching the attention of a certain red head. "Oh thank you, but I didn't get you anything. Now I feel bad.", Y/n pouted.

"Don't worry! You don't have to give me anything at all!", Mina smiled. "Well okay. But I promise to buy you lunch. And to answer your question, no I dont have a Valentine.", Y/n said. "Oh wel-"

"Good morning class, get seated at the bell. Today we don't have much to do, so just do whatever, and stay quiet.", Aizawa said glaring at the rowdy class. "Yessir!", they said. He soon flopped to the ground and fell asleep. Everyone broke off into their own groups talking.

"Hey man, if you keep staring at her like that, you might scare her.", Denki said to Kirishima. "H-huh?! I wasn't staring! I was just...admiring...", he said blushing. "Yeah sure, we all know how you feel about her dude.", Sero scoffed. "Just tell her how you feel shitty hair!", Bakugo snapped annoyed with their chatter. "But what if she doesn't like me back? She's way out of my league. There are better people than me. I bet she doesn't even like me the way I like her...", Kirishima said.

"Kiri, trust me, she likes you. You might not notice it because you are to scared and worrying about getting rejected. But I can see how she looks at you. And let me tell you, she is always looking at you.", Sero said. "Yeah dude, just give her the damn chocolate and ask her out already!", Denki said. "Ok. I'll do it after school.", Kirishima said

Time skip~

It was lunchtime and Y/n sat with Deku and her other friends. The group chatted about training, and hero stuff. They all watched as Ochaco gave Deku a gift. The poor boy blushed so much he looked like he would pass out. They all laughed at him. The two have been dating for a few months and he still gets so nervous around her.

Y/n couldn't help but sigh and look over at Kirishima. As soon as she looked, she made eye contact with him. He was already staring at her. They both panicked and looked away quickly. They both could feel their heartbeats quicken. "Y/n, why don't you confess already? You got him something for today right?", Tsu asked. "Well yeah, but I'm too scared to give it to him. What if he rejects me? What if he doesn't like me? I'm too nervous to even talk to him.", Y/n frowned.

"Y/n look. I have known that boy for so long now to know that he is in love with you. Do you not see the way he looks at you?!", Mina said. "Well yeah, but I'm still too nervous. Don't worry, I'll try to confront him after school.", Y/n said. The bell soon rang singling their next class.

After school was over, Y/n took her time packing to wait for Kiri. But she couldn't find him, so she searched around school. At the same time Kirishima was looking for her. The girl was soon stopped by another student. He looked so nervous around her. "Hi, did you need something?", the girl asked kindly. "U-um yes, Y/n. I wanted to give this to you! I really like you and wanted to confess my feelings.", he said nervously.

Kirishima could hear his heart breaking slowly at the confession. He knew he didn't stand a chance. Why did he even bother. But before he could walk away, he waited for Y/n's response.

"Um.. I'm sorry, but I will have to decline. I'm sorry, but I already like someone else at the moment. I really appreciate it though.", she frowned. "Oh. T-that okay! You can still keep this is you want! Happy Valentine's Day, Y/n.", he said walking off. The girl never liked rejecting people. It made her feel bad. But there was nothing she could do. She had to be honest about her feelings. She could never lead them on.

As she walked away from the scene with the chocolate in her hands, she accidentally bumped into someone. "Kiri? What are you doing here?", Y/n questioned. "O-oh uh, I was looking for you.", he smiled nervously. "Oh. Well, do you want to walk home together?", she asked averting her eyes. "Yeah sure!", he smiled.

The silence couldn't get more awkward. They left the school not too long ago. As they were walking to the dorms, Kiri was trying to gain the courage to talk to her. Y/n was in the same predicament. She soon slowed down to a stop, causing Kiri to stop too. "Y/n?", he asked. "Kiri. There is something I need to tell you.", she nervously said. His breath hitched.

"What is it?", he said trying to calm down his breathing. It took her a minute to calm down. She looked up at him with a nervous expression. Her eyebrows were furrowed. "I- I really like you! I always have. But I was too scared to say anything. I didn't want to say anything in case you reject me. But I cant keep it in anymore. It hurts me not being able to talk to you without being so nervous. I understand if you don't return my feelings. I just needed to tell you.", she said. She was so scared she almost cried.

A few moments of silence passed and she feared for the worse. Now she really wanted to cry. She was brought out of her thoughts by a small chuckle. She looked up in surprise to see Kiri smiling. He sighed in relief? "Y'know it should have been the other way around. I was really scared to tell you my feelings too. I thought you would reject me too, Y/n. I like you too.", he smiled.

Y/n felt heat creep up her neck, and her mouth dropped in shock. He liked her back? She soon came too and smiled brightly. "So, does this mean we are dating?", she asked happily. She was so excited, since she has never had a boyfriend before. "Of course, only if you want.", he shyly smiled. "Yes!", she shouted. "C-can I kiss you?", he asked blushing as red as his hair. "Mhm!", she smiled nervously. This would also be her first kiss.

They both slowly leaned in closer, lips barely touching. They both were so nervous, they couldn't move. Kiri finally gained the confidence and grabbed her by the back of her head. Their lips soon met as they shared a passionate kiss. They pulled apart to catch their breath and smiled lovingly at each other.

"Oh right, I got you this!", Y/n said handing him a plush of his favorite hero, Crimson Riot. He smiled brightly and hugged her tightly. "Thank you! I also got you something.", he said. He soon pulled out a beautiful necklace with his named ingrained on it. (Is that the right word?) She jumped on him hugging him. Y/n thanked him over and over again.

"Here let me put it on you.", he said. After putting the necklace on, he grabbed her hand and kissed her again. "Happy Valentine's Day, Y/n."
