Recap: 'Before they could even say anything she fell. She fell to her death....'
*Third POV*
"Y/n..... Y/N!!!!", yelled the shocked heroes. She just jumped off the cliff. Why would she do that?! They didn't have time for questions and ran towards the cliff before being stopped. Rin... He put them in another illusion. No. No! They can't waste time imagining things. They had to go after her. She's running out of time! But one person broke out of the illusion. He ran to save her. The person he failed. The person he couldn't save the first or second time. The person that he loves. He cant lose her. This time he won't let go, ever again...
*Y/n POV*
I don't understand. I couldn't wait to be free, yet I don't feel happy. Why don't I feel happy? Isn't this what I wanted? To be free? To leave this world? Shouldn't I feel excited? But I don't. I feel sadness and more pain. I can still see everyone's faces when I jumped. I failed them. Why didn't I fight more? Why couldn't I have just let them save me?! They wasted their time trying to save me, just for me to try and kill myself?!
Why? Why did I do it?! Now I'm going to die. Damnit! Why am I so damn weak?! And Eri.... How could I be so stupid?! So selfish! All I thought about was myself while she's going to be alone again! How could I leave her after everything?! I even promised her! My eyes burned with tears. I don't want this... I shouldn't have listened to those voices. I don't want to go. I don't want to leave everyone! I don't want to die anymore! Someone. Anyone.... Help me!
Wait is that...Deku?!
*Third POV*
As soon as he escaped the illusion he dove off the cliff to save Y/n. He activated his quirk to make himself fall faster. After a few seconds he saw her. And the ground that was coming closer into view. Was he going to make it? He had to! He pushed himself harder to save her. "This time Y/n. This time I won't miss!", He shouted.
He reached out his hand to her. Y/n looked so shocked yet relieved that he wanted to save her. "Deku?!", she shouted. As soon as he grabbed her hands he pulled her into his body. Holding her so tight he thought she would disappear again. "Got you. This time I'll never let you go again. You're safe now, Y/n", Deku softly said.
Y/n's eyes filled with tears. She felt so happy. Maybe dying wasn't the answer. She wouldn't be happy after she died. Since now she knew that her friends are what made her happy. They will always make her happy. She gripped onto Deku thinking he will leave her. All that could be heard was her sobbing and her constant apologies. They soon landed on the ground. All they had to do now is wait for the heroes to bring them up to the surface.
*Third POV*
Some of the other heroes escaped the illusion and finally took out Rin. He was knocked out cold on the ground. They made sure he would never wake up for a while. While they were stuck in the illusions the League of Villains somehow escaped and fled from the scene. They assume Kurogiri teleported them away. They sent a team down to save Deku and Y/n.
After they were brought to the surface everyone sighed in relief. She was okay. She had passed out from exhaustion a little while ago. But that didn't matter. She was safe now. They immediately ran towards them with a stretcher and put her on it. After that they headed to the hospital. Some other police and ambulances came to help out. Once the injured were taken to the hospital and Rin was arrested everyone left the scene. Many people praised Deku for his quickness with catching her.
*Third POV*
Y/n has been out for almost a full week. All of her friends and even some heroes have visited her everyday, some even leaving gifts for her. Eri comes back everyday and reads to her. Since Mirio was now teaching her how to read and write. She could even write her name! She would tell Y/n about her day and anything she could think of. But what she didn't know was that Y/n could hear every single word.
*Y/n POV*
Everything hurts. I can't even move. Where am i again? Oh wait I hear beeping? Oh right! I was saved and brought to a hospital. Then why does my body still hurt so much. I fluttered open my eyes and looked around the room. Or tried to. That damn bright ass light! My eyes finally adjusted to the stupid light so now I could look around my room. Wow that's a lot of gifts.
Why though? Who are they for? I tried to sit up but immediately hissed and flopped back down. Oh I forgot, my body still hurts... I clicked my tongue and slowly scooted my body upwards this time without hurting myself. I was about to let out a mini celebration but rethought the idea. Don't want to hurt myself, again. Suddenly a nurse opened my door. The sound of metal hitting the floor echoed in the room. Her eyes were so wide in shock.
"Doctor! Doctor! Y/n's awake!", the nurse yelled running down the halls. To say I was shocked was an understatement. What just happened? Well whatever. Suddenly some other doctors entered the room along with a very familiar face. "Mirio.", I smiled tearing up. I forgot how much I missed him. "Y/n. You're okay!", Mirio shouted.
He wanted to hug her but decided against it. He didn't want to hurt her. And then a whitish blue bunch of hair popped out behind his legs. "Big sis!", she screamed. "Eri!", Y/n cried out. Eri didn't think twice about jumping on her big sister. "I missed you Big sis! I thought you were gone forever! I was so scared!", Eri cried. Y/n had stayed silent while letting Eri let out her tears. Eri paused when she felt tears hitting her face.
She looked up to see Y/n crying with the most heartbreaking look in her eyes. There was so much sadness, pain, and guilt swimming in her glossy (e/c) eyes. "...I'm sorry. Eri, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I broke your promise! I was so selfish! I wanted to die. I tried to but realized that you would be alone again. I'm.. so sorry, Eri!", Y/n sobbed while holding Eri so tight. She felt so guilty for even thinking about what she did. What she tried to do.
Eri and even Miro sat in shock from what she said. Mirio even let a few tears escape. He decided to give them some privacy and step into the hallway. "Y/n. It's not your fault. You didn't do it right? You're still here aren't you? So theres nothing to feel so guilty about. I understand the feeling. And honestly I-. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that you are here now. Safe. Home. With me and everyone else.", Eri said. Y/n was so shocked. Since when did Eri get so smart like that?! She smiled and whispered a soft thank you while kissing Eri's forehead. They stayed like that for the rest of the day and night. Holding each other for the first time in a while. This time they won't ever let go. Never again....
