Eleanor ran out of the castle. The meeting between kingdoms was turning into an argument. She didn't want to be there while they where planing a future wedding, 10 years from now. She never had the desire of getting married like all her other friends. She was only 13. She got so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realize she was already at the garden, located in the back of the castle.

She smiled to herself and slowly removed her shoes and walked around. The aroma of the flowers washing away her worrys. Her footsteps being as quiet as a passing wind through her hair. The only thing she could hear was the wind, her breath, and the soft and gentle waterfall landing into the near by pond. The fresh air filled her lungs as she smiled.

Suddenly she felt and arm on her shoulder, with a seemingly strong grip. She froze in horror, terrified at the fact that someone could have found her leaving the meeting that she was supposed to be at. She squeezed her eyes shut and turned around, awaiting her punishment. Instead, a child bod jumped into her arms and she was confused, but then relieved as she knew who this was. She slowly opened her eyes to reveal a messy black haired boy with overalls and a long sleeve shirt that obviously didn't fit him due to how long the sleeves are.

She laughed "Hello Artemus! How is the best brother in the world?" She asked the 9 year old with a smile on her face. He giggles "Hi Eleanor! I saw you storming down the hallways and I just wanted to see if your okay" he exclaimed with a worried expression. Her smiled turned into a sad one in a heartbeat. "I'm fine buddy.. I just had a lot on my mind" she said softly as her gaze stubbled apon some flowers.

"Hey... Do you know how to make flower crowns?" She asked as she smirked and parted her long brunette hair from her face. "Eleanor... I'm 9." He said with sass as he crossed his arms, she just laughed and took his hand, leading him to the flowers and sitting him down. Eleanor carefully removed Artemus's cardboard crown and replaces it with a flower crown, covered with blue and white tulips. Artemus helped make her flower crown, witch was made out of white and red roses.

They both started to spin around, the trees giving them shade as for a moment, and just a moment, it was only them. Everyone and everything else was gone, they where at peace. The wind flowing through both of the children's hair. They both spun around as much as their body's could handle until the both fell on their backs. Now just them laying on the grassy hill. Eleanor froze. She heard something, something that she knew Artemus wouldn't, she turned around and sat up and found her mother. She had black hair and Hazel nut eyes. And a lovley gray gown. She was truly a sight for sore eyes, "Mommy!" Artemus leaped into her mothers arms as they both laughed. "Darlings.. Why are you both out here? The meeting just ended.. " she asked with visible worry across her face. "I- I was just-... I ditched the meeting.. I'm sorry. Mother. " Eleanor looked down with disappointment, her mother just sat down next to her. "Oh darling... I understand.. A lot of people arguing in one room can cause stress, so much stress.. I would've left as well." She explained with her gentle voice as she embraced Eleanor with a hug.

Eleanor smiled as her dad followed from behind "I'm so sorry you had to witness that Eleanor" he said as he sat down with them both, kissing Eleanor's cheek with his bushy white beard of his. Eleanor closes her eyes and falls asleep on her dads chest out of exhaustion, her parents laugh. "I guess you don't want to see what I bought you thenn.. " her father exclaimed and her eyes shot open and her smile turned wide. Her father handed her earrings. It made her scream around in excitement. "I got the blacksmiths to work on them for you my sweet" her father exclaimed. She just smiled.

Night time rolled around and she was just finished putting on her night gown. "Eleanor?" She heard from behind her "yes Artemus?" She asked as she turned around, facing the young boy with cardboard sword in hand. "Uhm.. Dad passed out soo... Can you read me a bed time story?" He asked and she just smiled. "Of course I can, what book do you want me to read? " she asked as she took the younger males hand and lead him to his bedroom. "Can you read about the witches? It's Mommy's favorite!" He asked as Eleanor tucked him into bed and nodded. As soon as she got through the first chapter he was fast asleep. She smiled to herself and slowly walked out the room, turning off the lights and went to her room. She passed out, dreaming of whatever 13 year olds dream about.
