THE VIXEN ARC ⟨PT. 2⟩

It's been about 1 month since You and Mario found the Guardian Pod and brought it back to the Castle. Team Killer Ink has been locked away in the Dungeon and kept prisoner to be further interrogated. They haven't said anything yet, no matter the methods they came up with to get them to talk. Vixen has gotten along well with Meggy as it turns out, They both have many things in common with their similar like and taste in all things sports and such. You have learned more about the Guardian Pod among all the other things you've learned from SMG1, SMG2, and SMG4.

Vixen was now having a chat with Meggy as he was teaching her about what could have possibly led her to have become Human in the first place

Meggy: "So, You honestly think that there's a reason behind how I became human?"

Vixen: "If my hypothesis is correct, There's no doubt that there is! Now tell me, Meggy, How do you think Inklings are made? Or should I say how they become who they are as they get older?"

Meggy: "I thought it was the same as regular birth, right?"

Vixen: "Close. Allow me to explain. Inklings lay eggs in squid form on a random day, and the next day the inkling turns into a squid and goes to live in the water, getting a regular squid life and eventually dying. At younger ages, Inklings can swim within water since they are still in the process where they aren't completely made from the Ink; However, Inklings are evolved species of squid that came to be after rising sea levels sunk human civilization. Circa 2000 years before the events of Splatoon, the Inklings crawled up to what little habitable land there was left on the planet"

Meggy: "So, It's like the Evolution Theory where Humans were originally Apes before they evolved?"

Vixen: "The same case! You see, Us Inklings slowly begin having Ink flow throughout our anatomy as we grow older and evolve. At the start of birth, We later grew up to have more human-like aspects yet were still registered as Sea Animals but rather more advanced"

Vixen: "The Ink that flows through our body not only counts as our blood but also Inklings stand by using a system of fluid-filled bladders, possibly blood, ink, or another fluid. The Ink we have keeps our Squid Form intact, allowing us to shift between our Squid Form to swim in Ink and switch back to our regular form. Since you were a Fully Developed Inkling at the time"

Vixen: "You already have developed the Human Aspects such as the Skin and Flesh but since Francis sucked away all of your Ink from you, It caused your Human Side to become the more Dominant Side as both your Human and Inkling Sides were equal. Furthermore, It caused your physical appearance to change and thus morphing you to become a fully-fledged Human"

Meggy: "Woah! So that's how I became this way? That sounds so cool! Does this also work on other inklings?"

Vixen: "Theoretically it could be Plausible but It can ultimately be too dangerous if you're not careful due to Inkling's Ink is very valuable and important for us to survive. Like Precious Blood in an Animal, Our Ink is what helps keep us strong and alive. It's fascinating how even when you got your ink stolen, You still lived on and now look at you"

Meggy: "Sometimes I kinda miss being an Inkling but being Human isn't so bad either"

Vixen: "I've been researching them for so long and pretty much know many things about both Inkling and Humans overall"

Meggy: "That's so cool! You're like the 3rd coolest guy I've ever been friends with!"

Vixen: "3rd? Who's 2nd and 1st"

Meggy: "2nd Place is Mario and 1st is Y/N and I've only met them for a month"

Vixen: "Those two do seem like pretty interesting people to be around"
