You and Tari were playing Pokemon together as you had finished making a very balanced and strong team. While Tari had also done the same but they were mostly just baby Pokemon and yet they were very strong
For the first time, You did the impossible and won against Tari as she had become unbelievably shocked
Y/N: Oh my God! I did it! I seriously won against Tari for the first time! Yes!
Tari: Oh wow, You did good, Y/N! I never would've thought anyone would beat me! Not that there's anything wrong with that
Y/N: Oh, I am SO rubbing this one in Meggy's Face when I see her again!
Tari: Speaking of Pokemon, Did you hear that I got a new Pet?
Y/N: Wait, you got a new pet? Since when?
Tari: While you and Meggy went to that Factory, Luigi told us about. Also, did you ever give him the doll yet?
Y/N: Well, We did but after he figured out that It can talk, He kinda freaked out so we ended up giving Poppy over to Melony. They seem to get along quite nicely.
Tari: Oh. Anyway, I got him while you two were out. Genger and Bob seem to have been selling them quite a lot. Here, let me show you mine!

Tari: Yeah! They've been selling pets to a lot of people lately! You should get one for yourself!
Y/N: What would I need a pet for?
Saiko: For one, You could use the company.
Y/N: What's that supposed to be?
Saiko: You practically have been hanging around with literally nobody but Meggy all the time, You hardly do that much when you're not doing anything else, and on top of that, You don't even have a Girlfriend. At least, You'd have better things to do if you had some kinda Companion
Y/N: Well, What would you know about having a Companion? You don't even own any pets.
Saiko: Because who needs Pets when I have people who give me attention for the things that I'm good at? Especially with a Guitar
