the key

As the willow tree sways in the cool summers wind

I am stolen away not to be found

Or else if you catch me

U will never be let free

You'll be turned to stone

And it cant be undone

So stay away from me

And never return my key

As that's what i am trying to find

And unlock my shackles if you would be so kind

I am shackled to the willow tree

That you will never see

For it is under ground

And cant hear a sound

So help me

Find the key

Or i will be forever lost

if your willing to pay the cost

The price is very simple

You need not be nimble

You'll be turned to stone

if you don't want to leave me alone

I am a threat

You don't want to meet

My eyes are abysses of icy blue sapphires

That once ruled the king of ire

And my silky red hair that writhes in the unmoving air

And made all the men turn to sinders

My deathly white skin

Was thanks to my aunt Lynn

My marshmallow pink lips

Are cold to your finger tips

My sparkly white teeth

Are filed deathly sharp to kill Erith

As blood trickles from my lips

Staining them crimson red as the hollow crypts

A pair of unreachable daggers at my feet

To my unlucky defeat

As my hooded cloak hides my face

As it hangs down my back it leaves no trace of my size or shape

As a cold echo makes me snicker as my friend takes shape

In the shadows

Coming up with the men from the meadow

For they are going to end up in my garden

My garden of statues i have made with no pardon

As she lights her lantern

I see her face turn

Away as a loud bicker echo's  through the tunnels

Like a funnel

A dark haired grubby man stepped in to the lantern light

Illuminating his face " i have some thing you might like"

he said softly and took a few steps towards me

And held his hand open in front of me and there laid the key

With sapphire embellishments and winding copper
