I stand before the large golden mirror. I run my hands over my stomach. I continue to stare into the mirror as I turn my body to the side.
Showing? Already? How strange.
The doors creak open and I jump. I hear Belial's heavy footsteps and I slowly drop my shirt.
"No. Why stop?"he says as he approaches me.
"Look how beautiful you look."he says, gripping my shirt and slowly pulling it up.
His claws gently come to my belly and I gasp as I instantly feel something move, as if my belly was growing.
"Isn't that nice."he says with a smile.
My lips quiver and I watch as he gently rubs my belly.
"Pregnancy here, it works differently then the human world, puppy. Do you feel him growing?"he asks softly.
I nod.
"Did you cry when Ace told you?"he asks, pressing a kiss against my neck.
"...I didn't."I say.
"Why not?"he asks.
"I...I don't know..."I say softly.
"Is it because you're excited?"he smiles, his hand rubbing my belly again and causing the strange feeling if the movement again.
"Excited."I say blankly.
"Think about it. Bearing the child of Satan. Giving birth, to the bringer of life, and new generations. Mothering a new king."he says softly against my ear.
The word mothering rings through my ears.
"Mothering."I say, making him smile on my neck.
"You've always wanted to be a mother, haven't you?"he says as he kisses my neck.
My mind begins to fill with fluttery images, me, holding my child in my arms and smiling.
I smile slightly, placing my hands on his.
He chuckles.
"Look how beautiful you are."he says against my ear.
I suddenly begin to feel my will being swayed. Away from what I need, and more towards what I want.
I want the baby.
I lean against him as he rubs my belly.
"It's a boy."I say with a small, wonky smile.
"Yes, my love."he smiles.
.....
Ace watches from the door, nervous. He wipes his palms on his hands as he sees them swaying side to side, cradling Alice's pregnant belly.
He clears his throat and Belial's head snaps towards him, making him jump.
"You dare disturb me."Belial says.
"Master, your council is calling for you."Ace says.
Belial growls before turning back towards Alice.
"You must excuse me my love."he says quietly, his hands slowly sliding off of her belly.
She frowns a bit as he steps away.
Belial pushes aggressively past ace and makes him wince.
"You interrupt me again, I'll have you punished in unimaginable ways."he says as he walks past.
"Yes master."Ace says.
He looks back at Alice, who was nodding, as if she were high on the thought of her pregnant belly.
He huffs as the doors slowly close.
....
She smiles as she looks in the mirror. Alice was slipping right into the trance Belial had placed on her.
"Pathetic."she hears a familiar voice and she jumps as she turns around.
Hades stood a few steps before her.
"Selfish, puny, entitled little bitch."Hades says, stepping closer to her as she backs away in fear.
"I'm sorry, I'm s-sorry."she whimpers, tripping and falling down as he approaches her.
"Reveling, in the feeling of being pregnant with a child that was raped into you? Need I remind you what will come if you do not complete this mission?"Hades asks.
"I know, I just-i just-"she was cut off by being lifted to her feet and into the air, a pressure around her throat as she dangles in the air.
She looks back to Hades who was controlling this unknown force.
Meanwhile, whilst Belial and ace are walking towards the council room, Belial stops.
Ace notices and turns around.
"Master?"Ace says.
He slowly turns his head, looking behind him.
He feels the hair on his neck raise, and he releases a snarl.
"Hades."
"You want this to end."Hades says, slowly backing Alice against the wall as she scratches the invisible force around her neck.
"You want to be rid of me and Belial don't you? Don't you?!"he asks angrily.
Alice nods, reaching out towards him as a cry for mercy.
She chokes, not being able to breathe and slowly going limp.
"Maybe, I'll find another human for the job."Hades says angrily through his teeth.
Suddenly, the door slams open, and in storms Belial, his eyes glowing red with rage.
He sees Alice, dangling limp in the hair with bruises forming around her throat, and turning a blueish pale.
Hades smiles a bit as he looks at Belial.
"Boy."Hades says before vanishing into a cloud of black smoke.
Alice falls limp to the ground and Belial rushes to her. He picks up her limp body and sees the life slowly draining out of her.
"No, no. It's alright my love."he says with a small smile.
Then he balls his claw into a fist and then breathes into it. Then he opens his hand, bearing a blue spark of life and holding it before her mouth.
She slightly breathes and inhales the spark. Then she instantly sits up, gasping for breath.
She grips onto Belial's cloaks and looks at him, frightened as she breathes deeply.
"Breathe slowly."he says softly.
She wraps her shaking arms around his neck and embraces him in a hug, shaking in fear.
He hugs her back and huffs, feeling her heartbeat from her back.
Tears well in Alice's eyes as she hugs him. She knew something was wrong. With her.
She knew it was wrong.
To love him.
