" What's the matter with her?" Nicky asked as she walked up to Josephine's locker

"Nikita." Cherry said then Nicky nodded her head

"I don't get it." Josephine said," Maybe I'm just being jealous or selfish."

Cherry sighed and said," As much as I want to be helpful,I can't. It looks like you stuck with her."

"No, it's not that." Josephine said," They just treat her so different."

Cherry turned to Nicky, hoping to get help but both of them didn't know how.

Josephine signed and closed her locker.

" I say we make pasta." Luca said while trying to make Nikita agree with him

Josephine shook her head at Alaric who elbowed Asa.

"Pasta it is." Julian said which made Josephine sigh.

"What's the matter now Josephine?" Luca asked

"I don't agree with us eating pasta." She answered

Luca sighed and said, " Emory makes the best pasta, you know that."

"And it happens to be my favourite." Nikita said while smiling at Emory

Josephine groaned, knowing she had already lost.

"Whatever, call me when dinner is ready." She said as she turned around to head upstairs to her room.

"No young lady, you will be helping Emory in the kitchen." Alaric said

Josephine turned to him and shook her head.

" I didn't agree to this, why me? Why can't it be her? She agreed to this." Josephine asked with irritation, already annoyed with everything

"That attitude won't get you out of this." He said

With her mouth slightly opened, shocked at what Alaric just said.

She looked at Luca, who looked away.

" I'm not helping." She said before walking off

" THEN HAVE IT YOUR WAY, THERE WON'T BE FOOD FOR YOU!" Alaric yelled which she ignored

I can't believe I thought,me and him were finally getting close.

The moment she saw her bed, her body collapsed.

Tired from all of the past and present events, happening to her.

Suddenly she heard her bedroom door open as she was about to sleep.

" Pumpkin, are you asleep?" The very familiar voice of her father asked

Josephine quickly sat up, happy that someone she knew who wouldn't betray her was there.

"Dad." She called," I thought you were going to be late."

He sighed and walked to her bed, sitting down.

He ruffled her hair which caused her to groan.

He chuckled at her antics then asked," Why are you and your siblings fighting?"

"I don't know, ask them." She said

He sighed and said," I heard you said that you won't eat."

Josephine squinted her eyes then said," That's a lie, Alaric said that I won't eat because I refused to help them cook something I didn't want to eat."

Her father, Lorenzo hugged her and asked," What do you want to eat then?"

"I don't have an appetite anymore." She said

"Really?" He asked," I even dropped by your favourite Asian restaurants and got you something, so should I eat it then."

"No!" She yelled," I was joking."

She quickly got up and pulled her father by his wrist.

"Come on, you can stop strolling around." She said

He chuckled then got up.

Josephine pulled out her tongue at Alaric, as she ate her ramen and her dumplings.

"Dad!" Alaric yelled," You shouldn't spoil her, now look at her."

"Stop being jealous." Josephine said," I happen to be dad's favourite."

"Calm down brother or you will make a fool of yourself." Julian said

Alaric looked at her with annoyance as she winked at him.

"Dad, can I go out tomorrow?" Nikita asked, making Josephine gagged at the sound of Nikita calling her father 'Dad'.

" I was hoping to go shopping with Josie." She continued

Josephine dropped her chopsticks and shook her head as she couldn't say anything until she swallowed her food.

"I won't be able to make it." Josephine said," My friends and I are planning something."

"Then cancel it, Nikita can't go alone. What if something bad happens to her." Luca said

Josephine blinked once, twice then the third time.

Trying to understand her brothers thinking.

Couldn't they accompany her.

It's like they forgot what happened to me.

" I can't even eat my food in peace in this house anymore." Josephine said

"Nothing is going to happen if she goes alone and plus don't we have bodyguards for situations like these?" She asked

"Where have your senses run off to brothers?" She asked, clearly annoyed by their senseless thinking

"Don't talk to our brothers like that, show some respect, after all, their were kind enough to accept you as their sister." Nikita said, thinking she was setting Josephine in her place which only put more oil into the fire

"Nikita." Lorenzo called her warningly

"Sorry dad, but it's the truth. She's acting up." Nikita said

"That's enough!" Their father yelled

Josephine stared at her noodles, biting her lips as her vision blurred.

"I hate you all, except for you dad." She said as tears slowly ran down," Ever since she came back, you guys began to treat me so differently...if you want her as your sister so much, you could had just said so. I would understand, after all. She was your sister before me."

Josephine wiped her tears and left the dinning room.

Once she was gone, all her brothers had their head down.

"All of you should apologize to her." Their father said," and she's your sister for goodness sake."

After that, he walked away.
