Chapter 3

"Ji Hye, time to wake up."

"5 more minutes, I will run extra 5 miles for that." I murmured. A chuckle was heard and my eyes flew open. Shit, I've forgotten that I'm living with EXO now. I sat up and saw kyungsoo smiling at me.

"Why don't you sleep for 5 more minutes and run that 5 miles after school?" He said still smiling.

"No thanks. Now get out so that I can wash up and change." I replied and chased him out of my room. I then looked at the clock. 6.45 am. I heard that school starts at 8. Urgh, why must I attend school?

*flashback*

"Ji hye sshi, you'll have to attend school."

"What?!Why?!" I shouted at the emotionless alpha. Kris doesn't look amazed. I haven't attended school before, I was homeschooled. However, Sulli unnie told me that school is a whole mess. Therefore, I never wanted to attend school.

"You have to. You can't stay at home. No one will be here. If something happens to you, we can't help you." He explained. I sulked and agreed reluctantly.

*flashback end*

I took a quick bath and changed into my new uniform, letting my hair air dry. I combed the wet hair straight before applying eyeliner and small amount of blush onto my face (hey, i do girly stuff). I then went down to the dining room where the boys are.

"Morning ji hye~" all of them greeted. I greeted them back and look around to find a empty seat. The only seat left was in between Tao and Sehun. I sat down there.

Yoori: yes, we get to sit beside our mate~~

Ji hye: shuddap!

Yoori: No! Hehe *continues cheering and celebrating*

Yup, Yoori can be hyper at some times.

"Good morning, ji hye ah." Tao said and smiled.

Yoori: He smiled at us!

I did feel a little...yeah a little butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I smiled back.

"Good morning to you too." I greeted back. Both of us ate in silence as we hear the others chat.

*time skip*

Kris had dropped us (except suho, lay and him) at our new high school before leaving for his college.

Almost instantly, nearly the whole school girl population crowded around us. Not me, but the guys. Their faces were caked with makeup and they were screaming. Urgh, my ears were going to bleed. Just then, someone pushed me away, making me trip over my foot.

A hand grabbed my wrist, preventing me from falling face flat. It send tingles through my whole body.

"Are u alright?" Tao asked, as he pulled me back to a standing position. I looked at him and nodded dumbly. He smiled and released his grip on my wrist and instead held my hand.

"What are yo--"

"Protecting my clumsy mate so that she doesn't fall again." He mumbled, that is inaudible to the humans. Did I mention that this is a human school?

The girls gasped as they saw us holding hands. The rest of the guys also looked at us. They were smirking. The girls started to whisper, probably about me but I don't give a shit.

"I need to go to th--" before I could finish, he interrupted me.

"I'll go with you." He said. I nodded dumbly. Damn those tingles. They make me feel so...weak.

AT THE GENERAL OFFICE( 3rd person POV)

"I bet you're the new student, Ji Hye. Let me get the papers and stuff." Ji Hye nodded as the lady rushed in to the room behind her. Tao immediately leaned towards Ji Hye and rested his head on her shoulder. (Which is kinda awkward since he's so much taller than Ji hye)

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Can't I have skin contact with my mate?" He answered and wrapped his arms around Ji Hye. Mate,mate, Ji Hye thought. Yoora is squealing right now, but Ji Hye is too deep in thought to care about it.

Mate...I can't have a mate, not now... Ji hye looked at Tao. He'll be in danger...I don't want him to suffer because of me.

"Here are your schedule, locker number, the password combination and sports attire. Have fun in the school!" The lady smiled. Ji Hye took the stuff from her and left the office with Tao.

"Dang it! Why are you not in the same class as me?" Tao said as he looked through the timetable. Ji Hye rolled my eyes.

"I'm one year younger. Of course I'm not in the same class." She answered as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.(Ji Hye: it is...)

"Locker 372...locker 373...aha, here it is!" Ji Hye looked at the paper and swiftly unlocked it. She placed her sport attire and books that she didn't need for the day. Tao was leaning against the locker the whole time. There was also a group of girls along the corridor, staring at Tao.

"Let's go!"Ji Hye locked the locker and turned to him. Tao smiled.

"I'm not walking you to your class. He will." Tao said and pointed to her left. Ji Hye turned around to see kai staring at her.

"Why?"

"He's in the same class as you." Tao replied.

"He's has more fans though. Are you sure he can send me to class safely?" She asked as she looked at the crowd along the corridors. It gotten almost three times bigger.

"Don't worry, Ji Hye. We can always run." Kai replied for Tao and winked.

"Hey! No flirting with her. She's mine!" Tao shouted at him (not that loud to the point the fangirls can hear)

"Alright, alright. She's yours, hyung." Kai replied. He smirked and suddenly grabbed Ji Hye's wrist and ran towards the corridor. Ji hye was shocked by the sudden action and ran with him.

"OPPA!!!!!!!!!!!!" The fangirls started chasing adter them.

"Oh god...Kai it's your fault." Ji Hye said and ran faster.

"I'm not sorry for being so handsome~" he sang and ran faster as well. After a few turns, they finally reached their classroom. Unfortunately, the chemistry teacher had already started his lessons.

Oh shit, Ji hye thought.
