"You're going to school you understand?"
"No"
"I won't take no for an answer"
In a tense atmosphere, two people sat face to face in the dining room.
The woman, silently kept glaring at the boy who didn't waver as he fixed his glasses on his nose.
"Sage, I understand that you're scared of going to a new school, but you're going to face reality sooner or later. You're a boy, You don't sit at home slouching watching anime. You need to work sooner or later son."
"Tch what about this school I'm in right now?"
It's clear that these two are mother and son, they carry their resemblance to each other as well. Both wearing spectacles, maroon hair.
The mother's hair reached her waist whilst Sage's reached his shoulders. But it was kept tied. They both had the same sea green eyes with the same brilliance shining forth.
"After you cheated in your exams? After your damned father forgot to pay for your fees? Do you think I can take care of months of unpaid fees?" She slammed her hand on the table in frustration.
"Well...you got a point. Which school am I going to then?" said Sage flinching due to his mother's sudden movement.
"Trutina"
"The what? That place seems so small and deserted and so unmodernist"
"Speak for yourself"
"What?! I'm not small? I'm 6'2 for your information dear mother." He fixed his jacket as he raised his chin at her.
She smacked her forehead.
"You're still an idiot."
"Tomorrow you're going, and I've prepared your uniform. Come check it out."
She walked out the room as Sage followed behind her.
They entered her bedroom where 2 sets of clothes lay on the bed.
The first one looked formal, which had a white long sleeved shirt, with a red scales stitched onto his left breast pocket. The pants was black but also a scales badge on his right pocket.
"So these scales?, Symbolises the school?" He spoke as he picked the shirt up to get a clear view due to his poor eyesight.
"Apparently yes, I don't know much, but your uncle reccomended me to this school." She spoke as she took the shirt from Sage's hand and folded it.
"Hmmm..."
______________
In Sage's room.He lay on his bed, sighing to himself as he stared at the blank ceiling.
"Damn, I'm really nervous aren't I? At least I can start over. I wonder why i get these chances so much and I just waste em all..." He spoke to himself.
He took out his phone, he went into his gallery and scrolled downwards.
He stopped, where there was a girl's face on the screen. He sighed longer again but yawned this time, two streaks of tears going along his face.
"Hmm...I guess being gullible is a sin."
He deleted the picture.
"My dear sweet Medea, I hope we never cross paths again~".
His eyes glistened in a cunning light.
He gave a long sigh and turned to his side.
"Wonder who will I meet tomorrow..."
