Hyunjin woke up in the backseat of a car. It was raining hard outside and the only light was that from street lamps and other cars headlights. He noticed that he wasn't the only one in the back. He saw Jisung and Chan both. Neither of them looked conscious. It looked as if there was maybe a third oerson back there with them, but he didn't really care to investigate.

Obviously, Hyunjin was scared out of his mind because it's not everyday that you get the grace of getting totally k.o.ed while rescuing your secret boyfriend. "What am I doing here!?" Hyunjin looked at the driver who seemed too happy that Hyunjin was awake

The driver pulled over into a parking lot of a restraunt and gestured for him to hop out "I'm Mr. Lee. You must be apart of Hwang's gang?"

Hyunjin's head hurt, and he felt so confused "No.. Im actually his son.. But that doesn't answer my question!"

Mr. Lee looked at him for a second, and opened his mouth to say something, only for him to close it again. Finally, he asked Hyunjin to follow him into the restaurant.

Once they got seated, Mr. Lee promised to explain everything to Hyunjin.

"Well, you see, we found you knocked over on the ground.. My son, Felix was laying on your back too. After some investigation, my team discovered Chan and Jisung. Your lucky I investigated further than that because I had every intention of killing you right on the spot. Turns out, you weren't apart of the gang.. Jisung was conscious for a bit and told me to trust you, but he passed out after that. I can't just kill you because you're his son."

Hyunjin sat there trying to comprehend it all "I never agreed with his lifestyle.. He fucked my life up completely.. He killed the innocent, stole from the poor and wealthy, cheated on my mom, and missed out on mine and my mother's lives. He's a fucked up man. I wanted to feel love of a family. I never had anyone until i met Lix.. Felix is the only person I can love completely, so I'd do anything for him.. Even if that meant i needed to turn sides on my own father."

Mr. Lee's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What did he just say? "Love my son?"

Hyunjin moved his head to face Mr. Lee and nodded quickly with his eyes closed "Mr. Lee, I want to protect him. I promise I will, you just have to let me."

Mr. Lee sighed and looked at his watch to check the time. He hadn't any reason to, he just felt like it for no reason. He decided to change the subject "Mr. Hwang and I used to be close friends, you know."

Hyunjin tilted his head in confusion"Really? You were?"

"Oh for sure! He and I were best buddies, but when we were 19 I created a small gang. Your father wanted to be apart of it, so I let him. We continued to stay close like that until we both got married and our wives got pregnant at the same time. We were all so excited that our children would be born together. Unfortunately, my wife miscarried..." Mr. Lee's eyes began to up a little bit, but he blinked the tears away.

Hyunjin bowed his head down in sorrow for the older man

"It's alright. Fortunately, a few months before you were born, my wife discovered she was pregnant again. Soon you were born, and 6 months later Felix was born. The 6 month age gap didn't stop you two from growing up nicely together, but I don't think you remember, you were too young. Your father and I had a falling out because he was jealous of my leading role in the gang. We didn't speak for years. One day he decided that he wanted to make amends, so I invited him to a ball.. That night he... He killed Mrs. Lee! My wife, and the mother of our son! From that day on, he made it his goal to be my enemy.. I'm hesitant to let you near him because of your father.. Felix is the only thing I have left, so I had to hide him away." Mr. Lee looked so hurt, to say the least

Hyunjin was about to cry. He knew his father killed her, but he didn't know the rest of the story. He was left speechless. He could understand the part about Felix completely though.

"Mr. Lee, I-" Hyunjin was interrupted

"Felix was brought to the ER. I was on my way to the hospital to get the rest of you taken care of. You seem pretty okay though." Mr. Lee chimed

"Mhm, just a couple of scratches and a splitting headache" Hyunjin chuckled

"Let's go and get these boys taken care of!"

Hyunjin nodded in agreement, and they left
