It was the big day. The big, hugely dreaded day. Hugely dreaded for everyone but the king that was. His son was getting married, and he was ridding the world of one of the most powerful Big 8 members. Nobody would ever be able to rebel against him once she was dead.
Of course, nobody else thought this was a good thing. She was a fantastic, kind woman. All she wanted to do was help those around her, even the prince whose plan was to push her away forever.
As everyone figured out, his plan backfired.
"Aaron, you're about to be wed...what's on your mind, Sweetheart?" The Prince's mother and sister were in the room with Aaron as he got ready for the wedding.
"I feel sick." The Queen and Princess shared a look.
"What can we do to help? Do you want water or-"
"You can talk Father out of beheading my guard at my wedding if you really want to help." The women sat at his sides.
"You know we can't do that. I'm so sorry, Aaron. If we could have it any other way we would. After the wedding we can get you a new guard to help you heal that hole in your heart." Of course, Racheal was doing all of the talking. Melissa felt just as strongly about Aphmau as Aaron. In fact, Melissa was appalled by her Mothers words.
"You can't just replace someone like her! What do you think she was to us, a house pet?!" The princess spat. The prince was silent, staring at the stray purple ribbon thst previously belonged to Aphmau. She'd tied her hair up with it when ever she had an idea she wanted to put into motion. She gave it to him on his last visit and he tied it around his wrist. He rubbed at his eyes, that was when Melissa and Racheal finally noticed Aphmau's affect on him.
"It's not fair. This month has been nothing less than excruciating, so what am I gonna do when she's gone for the rest of my life? What's even the point? I get nothing out of being a king. The fame and money is nothing close to her worth."
"It's time for you to go, Aaron. Everything will be okay." His mother tried to grab him hand but he only ripped it away defensively and shot her a glare that pierced her core.
"You can try all you want to comfort me but lying to my face about how everything with be okay is just something I can't stand."

It was a shame to say that the ceremony was beautiful. The aura that came off of it certainly was not but the setup was stunning. Lilian held a bouquet filled with roses and Lily of the Valley's. It was ironic that that was her name, because the flowers theirselves symbolized death. They fit the theme.
A coordinated peice of the wedding for the guests had involved their clothing. Everyone who knew Aphmau was wearing black. Funeral attire rather than wedding clothes. Anyone directly supporting Aphmau wore something purple. It was her favorite color. Whether it just be purple gloves or a tie, whoever was wearing it was showing off that they did not agree with the King's decision.
The ceremony had just ended with Aaron and Lily's bittersweet kiss, and that meant it was time. The King stepped to the microphone that sat mid stage. "Now, Dear citizens, it's time for a special guest!"
Aphmau was walked out onto the stage by a person, who was most definitely the exectuioner. They were follwed by 3 mages, staffs out and ready. She looked exhausted, but furious. She was still wearing the same clothes she was wearing the day she was contained, minus the armor. It was a white, long sleeved shirt, paired with black shorts and a corset. The corset was purple on the base and black for the cups. You could see that she had been hurt, a black eye formed on her face, bruising all different colors. There was even some dried blood coming from her nose. She'd been sitting with these injuries unattended, given to her by some of the very own guards she surrounded herself with.
