It was already 6:00 p.m. when I woke up. I didn't know I overslept in bed. I got up and change my clothes and hurriedly went outside for dinner. As I glanced at some travelers in the hallway, the man that was in the reception area caught my eyes. He seemed to be checking in on this resort for a long period because of the luggage he had brought. I was about to look away when I suddenly saw his face.

"Oh, my God. That's him!" I immediately turned myself backward and walked to the other side of the hallway. Still feeling guilty about what happened in the restaurant, I feel like avoiding him for a reason. 'Why is he here,' I asked myself while headed outside.
I went to another restaurant, and by this time, I'm planning to grab some drinks and listen to some local bands to relax. There were quite a lot of people who arrived to chill. Some local folks also were there, and I thought the band was the reason. And as they started to play the music of jazz, pop, ballads, and love song and the singer started to sing, I felt goosebumps. It was an amazing performance because they're so good and their music uplifts the crowds.

"Is this your first time here?" Asked one of the tourists there beside my table. She's a pretty woman with dark curly hair, chillin' together with her boyfriend, I guess.

"Well, yeah and I never regret coming here, they're the best!" I replied.

"They're popular even though they're local artists. It's our fourth-time traveling here together with my husband just to hear their song." She said while drinking vodka. We both smiled as we continue listening to the band.

I was about to ask the waiter for another drink when I heard someone behind me.

"Can I join you here?" I looked back to see him, again. Startled, I almost fell on my chair. I saw his shocked face also upon seeing me and immediately said, "Oh, sorry, you don't want a stranger to join you, I'll just find another table," but I stopped him.

"No, no, I don't mind, and there was no other empty table also," I said with a nervous face. Even though I'm a bit drunk, I can't act carelessly in front of him. I'm rude earlier and made a wrong impression, so I want to change that sentiment.

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier, it's inconsiderate of me. I...I didn't want to be rude," I said, stammering. He smiled at me and said his consideration.

"Don't mind it, I understand." He replied. I finally got to see his appearance this close, closer than earlier, and he's quite interesting.
"I just thought you are waiting for someone, but seeing you here alone, I think you need company," he added while lifting his bottle of beer, "cheers!" and blurted this word. I carefully lifted mine and together we drank and enjoyed the music until midnight. We had a lot of chitchats as we were enthralled by the crowd's energetic shout at the band's rendition. I also asked him why did he bring a lot of baggage to the resort. It's kinda personal but being drunk makes you so careless and talkative.

"Oh, you're checking on that resort. You saw me but you didn't approach me, why is that so?" He asked.

"Well, the truth is I'm still guilty about my rudeness to you that's why I can't face you that time. I just saw you, alone, with all of the baggage that's why I'm curious." He laughed at me. I was puzzled by his reaction but then I smile as a response.

"It's not all mine, I only help the old lady together with her daughter carry their baggage. Well, we check out the other resort because we don't like their slow service, maybe because there were many tourists," he explained everything. We were talking like we'd known each other for so long. It's like I found a new friend who understands my crazy mind. We enjoyed each other's company, not to tell having naughty words sometimes, but we don't care. We just laughed hysterically together, jamming with the band, soaking ourselves with alcohol, and dancing to the beat until it was time to go back to the resort.
