I was immersed in water for an hour. It was amazing to feel the waves caress my body. According to locals, this is one of the popular resorts for bodyboarding because the waves are not too high. It's also pleasurable to step on their fine sand. I didn't think about lunch because I was sent to adore the beauty of the ocean. I swam for a few more minutes in the sea before coming back to my room and getting dressed for a meal.
Many tourists visit here as well, particularly now that it is Valentine's Day. Numerous enthusiasts can be seen around, while others are carrying their families. Perhaps the shadow of truth is still following. Yes, I am single, but I prefer this situation because it allows me to be happy. But, on the other hand, am I truly content?
After changing, I hurriedly went out of my room wearing a simple clothing appropriate for this resort. I was really hungry at that moment, so I rushed to the restaurant. I chose Uahi Island Grill because so many people rave about their food, and I also want to try my favorite Red Curry Fish. I arrived at the restaurant at about 2:30 pm. Even though it was past lunchtime, there were a lot of people there, but I was able to find an empty table. I immediately approached it when someone suddenly claimed the table I had chosen.
"I was the first to pick here," I said without looking at him."I'm sorry, Miss, I presumed this table was empty; are you alone?" I scorned his question as I checked the menu handed to me by the waiter. I replied yes to him with a small smile as I lifted my face to him. The appearance of the man brought me to a halt. His complexion was brown and he was appealing. But his expression was not gentle at the time. Instead, he seemed irritated with me because I was ahead of him in sitting at the table.
"I'm sorry, mister, there are no vacancies right now, but if this lady will allow you to sit with her here, that would be great," the waiter said, which irritated me. I'm not sure how he came up with the idea to suggest the man without first discussing me.
"Well, my apologies, I'm not used to having a stranger as a companion," I sighed and returned my attention to the menu.
"It's okay, I'll just eat at another restaurant," he said with a dismayed face and left immediately without arguing with me. I was also a little hesitant in my statement earlier. I just ignored what happened.
I went back to my room at the resort in frustration after having a meal. I couldn't put aside in my mind what had happened earlier. I think of him, I think of how I've been with him earlier. I should have just agreed to share the table, I wouldn't have felt guilty now.
