Aspens POV
After a long night of packing since amari and I are leaving tonight. I can't wait to leave but I'm definitely not looking forward to seeing Joe once again. He's just this ball of negativity that won't go away. One of these days imma snap from all the shit he says to me. "I have mixed emotions right now" I said to amari. "Why? It's gonn be fun" he said. "I don't know. It's just I don't want to see you know who" I said. "Man give him a chance. He's cool if you get to know him" he said. "Whatever. I lowkey don't want to go anymore. He just ruins my vibe when I see him. It's always something about him that makes me hate him so much" I said. "Y'all need to grow up and handle it like grown ups. He's a great guy. Please try. For me?" He said. I smiled and nodded. "I'll try" I smiled and he laughed. "Let's go get some food" he said. "Where?" I asked. "I want some wings" he said. "Can you go get me some?" I said smiling. "Duh. I'll be back" he said grabbing the car keys and going into the car. In the meantime, I walked back to my room and I sat down and just started thinking. I looked at a picture of when Joe and I were younger. He's kinda fine......why would I just think that?! I just don't get why he's always been so mean to me. Aspen was outside in the backyard of the burrows house. She was playing with the family dog. Joseph looked outside and saw her alone. So he got up and went outside. He's 12 and she's ten so he has a huge advantage. "Hey rat" he said. "Leave me alone Joe" she whined. "Or what?" He said pushing her down. "Stop" she said trying to get up but her pushed her back down. "What are you going to do? Cry to your mom?" He said laughing. He grabbed her by her shirt and yanked her up and down. "Joseph stop it" she cried. He then pushed her down hard and went over to the fire pit and grabbed a medium sized log. He went over and dropped it on her hand. "Ow!" She screamed following a loud cry. He pushed her before making his way back inside only to be stopped by his mom. "Joseph lee burrow! What is wrong with you" she said yanking him inside and his brothers came out. "Are you okay?" Dan asked. "No. I'm bleeding!" She cried as they pushed the log off her hand. Her hand was now drenched in blood. "Come" he said picking her up. They took her inside and washed her hand off.  There was now a mark left which was for sure going to leave a huge scar on her hand. "Joe what is wrong with you!" His dad yelled. He just pouted and rolled his eyes. "She's just being a crybaby" he said. "Are you kidding? You just dropped and log on her hand. You are grounded. Now apologize before going to your room now" Jim said. He looked at Aspen and huffed. "I'm sorry" he said before going upstairs.

I will never forget that. He's just such a awful person. I really want him to disappear off the earth. "Ap?" I heard my nickname being called. I looked up as I snapped out of my thoughts. "You good" he asked. I nodded. "Where my food?" I said scrambling. "It's downstairs" he laughed shoving me a bit. I laughed and ran downstairs and grabbed my food. I sat down and went on my phone as I ate. "Where's mom?" I asked. "You know where she at" he said. I then looked out the window and saw mom in the backyard with joes mom, Jaime. I ate until I was finished. "So Um your gonna get a roommate" amari said. "Yeah I know" I said. "Good news you are going to be in the same hall as javarious, Joe and I so you'll see us every day" he said. I rolled my eyes when I heard joes name. "I literally can't escape him at all" I said. He laughed. "If He's my roommate I'm going to flip" I said. He laughed and we made our way upstairs. "Play me in madden" he said. "Come on then" I said. He laughed and we ran to his room

11:34 pm
I'm grabbing my things as we are about to head to the airport. "I'm kinda gonna miss this" I said. "Me too. But javarious told me that we're all roommates!" He said. "What!" I said smiling. "Yeah. We all finna live in the same place. He told me the dorm rooms are apartment sized" he said. I jumped up and down. "Yesss!" I yelled. "He told me there's another surprise" he said. "It better be good" I said. He smiled. "Come we have to go. Our ride it here" he said. We made our way downstairs and mom, Jaime,Jim, Alyssa and jayson were all waiting for us. "My babies" mom said hugging us. "Amari take care of Aspen okay? Make sure my Babygirl is okay at all times" she said. I smiled and gave her a hug. "And you take care of your brothers okay?" She said. I nodded and smiled and hugged everyone. "Don't get drunk every night" jayson said causing us to laugh. We got in the car and drove off. I breathed as my reality finally hit me. "I can't believe it were really going to college" I said causing amari to laugh. "Me neither" he said.
