On the planet of Aurum, everything colored gold was considered superior, from the buildings to the people. On Aurum, she was filth, and the only thing that kept her alive was her ability to kill for them.

Hundreds of them were selected, but only a handful made it through the dark and tortuous training camps. She was one of the pawns that made it through and was now an agent for the Aurum government to use as they saw fit.

Elpida never wanted anything in life other than to complete the next mission ahead of her - anything else was a distraction, and if you were distracted, you were dead. But she failed this mission, and she's landed on a foreign planet as a prisoner where everything wants to kill her. Animals that hunt you down, carniverous plants that move, walls that closed in when you slept, warriors that thirst for blood, and a leader who seems keen on keeping her. With the weight of freeing herself and her fellow comrades on her shoulders, can Elpida make it out alive? Will she be able to escape even while he watches her every move? Or will she succumb to his will?
