Just a 12 yr old normal girl spending a normal day on a village, excited for her 13th birthday coming up next day. Lena, a pretty girl and a single child of Mr. Denner and Mrs. Denner (who were financially struggling) seems just as ordinary as children of her age. She now is very much excited as she has heard her parents talking about the surprise birthday party they are planning for lena which just only involves some of her friends and the family itself. They have never celebrated her, in fact any one of the family member's birthdays as they r financially struggling which she realises and adjust for it too. She has never been happier than ever after hearing them. On her birth-day, her mother asked her to go buy some grocieries and stationeries so that she could let her friends in and decorate the house without lena seeing. But lena knew about their plan but she pretended as if she didn't know anything and went to buy "the groceries".
