Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

TRINITY'S POV

"NO! NO! NO! NO! He can't be gone! Your lying!" I scream at the officer, unable to process what he has just told me.

"Miss. Calm down, I'm sorry but yes, he is gone. His car was found in the river this morning. Our divers still haven't found his body. I'm sorry for your loss."

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!*

I shoot from my bed and slam the snooze. Cold sweat covered my body. I shudder at the horrid memory. 

It will be a year next month since he has died.

I miss my dad so much. 

A tear slips down my face at the thought of my dad.

I snap out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on the door. Jess.

I smile, my sadness dissapearing, I hop out of bed and open the door when two little kids attack my legs

"Auntie Triny!"

"Why hello my little monsters!" I say grabbing my niece and nephew from my legs and hug them both.

"Jess! How are you?" I say to Jess

Jess took me in when my dad died in some freak accident, Jess is my dad's sister and all the family I have left. The police and investigators said it was an accedent but something about what happend strikes me odd, he died from a car crash in the middle of last summer on his way home from work. He was on a bridge and there was no traffic around and out of no where his car went out of control and crashed on the side barrier and flipped into the water. They never found his body.

When I heard about what happened to dad I literally left the world. I sat in my bedroom 24 hours a day sitting on my window seal and stared out the window. I hardly ate a thing and I lost a lot of wieght. Jess was there, the whole time nursing me back to health, but that experiance changed me.

After recovering from my depression, I moved from Jess' home back into dad and mines flat.

Jess has two kids Tommy 12 and little Dyllin 10, I chose her name and Jess was in love with the name, how unique it is.

"Oh, you know the usuall! Lets get you ready! Your first day!" Jess squeals in excitment

I smile and let them in leading them to my bedroom. Today is my first day working at Flye Fit as a personal self defence trainer.

I never enjoyed the thought of someone unable to defened themselfs not knowing what to do, especially with some of my owen expirences, so I set out to take self defence classes and applied to Flye Fit for a private trainer in self defence. Once I finally got all the required classes done I got the job and I start today.

Even though I do have a lot of money in the account from what my dad left me before he died, I want to use it for when I really need it. I want to live a normal life and earn my own money. Only £1,000 more and I can buy a car! But for now, Jess is my ride everywhere, I of course pay her gas money to take me but I still feel bad to use her only car to take me places.

"Auntie Triny! Wear this!" Dillyn says while dragging my favorite Under Amour white and light blue and green sweatshirt out of my walk in closet behind her.
