CHAPTER 5

Jordan and I pull up to the parking lot of Randy's Eat and Bar, getting out of the car, we make our way inside to find the whole staff inside dancing, eating, and singing at the karaoke station in the corner.

"Do you want to get something to eat? I'm starving and I could really use a drink." Jordan says and I nod, realizing how hungry I was too.

We get our food and take our seats just as the bar door opens, I look up already knowing who it is. Niall.

Once he sees me, a light sparks in his eyes as he made his way towards me

"What the hell do you want?" Jordan spits at him when Niall reached our table.

"Just want to buy this beauty a drink, you don't mind do you?" Niall says, sarcasm laced in his last words, which set Jordan off. He stands up and gets up in Niall's face

"You better leave her alone you son of a bitch!"

"Boys! That's enough! Jordan, calm down, it's fine." I say to them as I squeeze my way between the two, facing Niall,"Please, stop." I whisper to him making sure only he could hear. He looks at me with those irresistible blue eyes of his, he slightly nods and walks away. Half the bar by now is watching us. "Shows over guys! go back to your drinks!" I say trying to act happy and not treat the situation like it's no big deal. Everyone goes back to whatever they were doing and I sit back down and finish my food, taking a long swig of my drink.

Jordan finally cools off and sits down. "What the hell was that?!" I whisper scream at him

"I told you, I don't want you associated with him! I don't like him, he's trouble Trinity, please. I-I just don't want him to hurt you like he hurt my sister..."

"What happened with your sister?" I ask, I didn't know he had a sister.

Jordan stands up, looks around the bar, obviously looking for Niall, once he spots him at the bar not paying attention to us, but I knew he was. Jordan grabs my hand and drags me outside.

Once we are behind the bar he tells me, everything

"A few years ago I had a sister, her name was Amelia, she had long blonde hair like you, and you remind me so much of her, that's why I may seem so protective around you. It's just once you came, and I saw you I thought it was my second chance.... It was my first year at Flye, and she met Niall. They started dating and things seemed to get pretty serious until-" by this time tears started streaming down his face as he choked out his words

"Niall was different then and I don't know what happened between them but whatever he did changed her. They got into some huge fight and she came home in tears. They broke up and Amelia was never the same again, she started to get into drugs and drinking.... And one day- we found her... Sh-she over dossed.

"She was only 17, she would have loved you.... You two have a lot in common and-"

Jordan is in tears and he slides down on the ground, his face in his hands as he sobbed and morned for his sister.

"Shhh, it's okay, it wasn't your fault, there's nothing you could have done to stop it from happening. She's in a better place now, and I bet she is watching over you right now." I say hugging him tight. Now this explains everything, why he hates Niall so much, and why he seems so protective of me.

"Thank you Trinity. I really needed someone to tell all of that to." Jordan says, his brown eyes red and puffy and tears stained his cheeks."Let's go back inside, and have some fun, I need a drink anyways."

"Jordan, are you sure?" I ask worried, I don't want him to blow up at Niall, I mean he doesn't know his side of the story, and I intend on getting his side of the story and to get these two to talk about it. To get things straighted up between them.
