CHAPTER 4
After my little visit with Niall I made my way back into the arena to find Jordan in the middle of the ring with both of his hands raised above his head in victory.
I walk back to my seat to find Regina cheering and clapping and I join her, though I'm not really there, I'm still lost in my thoughts, over how Niall, some peeping Tom can spy on me while I showered and yet still can get me to kiss him like I did just minutes ago, I hardly new the guy!
I need to take a break from all of this and get my priorities straight.
Through out the rest of the tournament I hardly even knew what was going on. Fight after fight, winner after winner, loser after loser. Until the final championship match. Niall and some guy from Dublin gym named Aaron. Jordan ended up being a bye and had to sit out the rest of the tournament. He made it to the end but with the odd number it ended up being him, Niall and Aaron, and since Niall and Aaron are in the same bracket, they had those two fight and Jordan has to either fight Aaron if Aaron wins or win first with Niall because they are in the same gym.
I said a silent prayer hoping that Niall would win so Jordan didn't have to fight this man, Aaron is like 6'3 and a huge guy! Pure muscle but he worked out too much and the man did give me the creeps and intimidated me. I was surprised that Niall didn't go running away screaming like a little girl for his mum.
He stood his ground in the upper right hand corner of the ring and Aaron in the bottom left.
Jordan was able to leave and came to sit next to Regina and I. Regina and I both give him hugs and congratulations to him. We all sit and wait for the bell to ring for the beginning of the fight.
"Who do you think will win Jordan?" I ask
"It's hard to tell, I have only seen Niall fight and the kid can fight. But Aaron looks like he could snap Niall in half. Hopefully Niall is as strong as I think he is, or he's screwed."
I turn my attention back to the ring and look at Niall. He is already looking at me, his eyes comforting and inviting, he smiles a genuine smile to me, that calms my nerves a bit.
Wait.
Why am I concerned about Niall? He's the pervert who invaded my privacy in a very disturbing way! I want Aaron to knock some sense into him for what he has done! I know it sounds selfish and I'm overreacting but I have had not so good expirences that only mirror this situation, this is how it starts then only ends up not so pretty, I was determined to make sure he had no control over me and that he learns his lesson for what he did.
I shake my head, clearing my thoughts and find Niall still looking at me, I glare at him showing him that I wasn't going to give into his stupid little game he is trying to play. Niall's smile fades, and he frowns a little. The light in his eyes slowly fading away but his eyes don't go dark, they just go a grayish blue. He looks away when someone, I'm guessing his coach or something tries to get his attention.
I find my shoes very interesting at this point, I stare at them for about five minutes until the announcer finally comes over the intercom to introduce the final match and blah blah blah.
The bell rings and everyone is on their feet, including me. Niall's gaze never leaving his target, eyes dark, but not as dark as they usually are, they had a slight tint of gray to them. He hops around the mat trying to find Aaron's weak spot. Once he is satisfied with a spot he throws a punch to Aaron's shoulder. Aaron stumbles back a bit but quickly regains his balance and swings his leg into Niall's stomach. That causes Niall to double forward trying to catch his breath. Aaron takes the chance and takes a uppercut into Niall's jaw sending him to the ground.
