Chapter 17

[ A MONTH AFTER MARRIAGE.]

"Just look at you, sleeping like a log" Jin scoffed."Ya, Kim Arin," He tried all sorts to wake her up." You can't sleep like that. You promised to watch the stars at 12:00 with me and now you're sleeping like you don't care.You know it's important for us. Arin-aa please wake up." He rested his chin on her shoulder and tried to tickle her tummy.She flinched and turned towards him foaming"What is it Jin.? "She asked with a sleepy voice. "It's too cold out there. How can we go out to watch the sta~" She yawned in the middle of her of words and decided not to bother talking and get into Her dreamland again.Her eyes got shut and she got back her precious sleep.
"Yaah,... you-" Seokjin sighed. " You're such a traitor, I'm not going to talk to you. Kim Arin.I'm going to watch the stars alone." He pouted." I'm really going'.He said and grabbed his coat."yaah, you even listening to me." He sighed "This girl".
He was about to leave but then Arin grabbed her hand and pulled him to the bed and made him lie. She snuggled into his chest closing her eyes" It's cold 🥶, Seokjin-aah. Please don't go out alone." He chuckled at her cuteness."Yaah, you promised me.This day won't come again you know that so well."He said trying to act like he's angry.
She hugged him more tight "We can watch the stars from our terrace too." She looked up to him. "Yeah we can. " He said. "It's a good idea by the way." He smiled.He was so happy. This day is so special to him and he want to enjoy these moments with her."Okay, then keep yourself warm" He made her wear a scarf around her neck."It's too cold ".He chuckled making her smile.

"You go first I'm coming," He said. "Where you going ?" She asked releasing him from her arms. "Just wait" He said and went out of the room.She then secretly took out a gift from her drawer which was wrapped with beautiful cover and hide it on her pocket. She went to the rooftop and sat on the bench looking at the stars waiting for Jin to come. "5 minutes left".She sighed. " Where's he? " She asked to herself worrying if he'd miss the time and looked at the terrace door. "Omo, it's 12 am. Ottokhe" she looked at her watch.

She heard something burst. She flinched and suddenly closed her ears with her hands.She saw Seokjin coming with a cute cake on his hands.It was decorated with candles and tiny dolls.The dim light of candles falling on his face making him look like an angel just like when she first saw him.Her eyes filled with tears with these scenarios. "Happy birthday my love." He said. His soft voice made her remind the day when she first listened his voice and fell in love with him. That's the only thing that made her go crazy over him.

She couldn't control her tears and wished him with voice full of love " Happy birthday to you too my love ".She chuckled softly with teary eyes and approached to hug him.

He took out a beautiful chain from his pocket and made her wear it."For me ?" Arin chuckled.He nodded. "Yes my love".

Time skips >>
They both were sitting on the bench in each other's arms with fire lightened infront of them.They shared a huge blanket as it was so cold. Jin put his hand on Arin's shoulder and both looking at the stars."Its so beautiful". He said smiling."Yes it is" Arin nodded as she looked up at the sky and smiled.
Phone rang.A face call from Jimin.
"Yeoboseo,(hello)" Jin picked up his phone.
"Yaah, bro.. Where's Arin-aa ?"He asked in a hurry.
" Here I'm Jimin-shii". Arin said showing herself on the call.
"Sorry bro, I just slept for so long and woke up seeing it's 12:35 of 4 December. I'm just so late.." He scolded himself pulling his hair.
"Chill bro,its okay".Arin said.
"Anyways, Happy birthday to my darlings. I love you both" He said and blew a kiss over his phone.
"Thanks Jimin". They both said.
"Okay, party tomorrow ? " He asked in a excited tone.
"Umm.. maybe" Jin said him teasing and laughed.
"Yaah, you need to.." Jimin pouted.

Arin's phone vibrated.
"Happy birthday Arin-aa," Taehyung sang as she picked up the phone.He then sang 'Winter Bear' to her. It's her favorite song.Arin chuckled over his cute birthday wish and said "Thank you Taehyungiie for the cute wish and for the beautiful song too.It's my favorite song of yours."
"Aa,where's Jin. Just hand him over your phone." She then gave her phone to Jin. "Happy birthday bro.." Thank you Tae." Jin said. "You already have a beautiful gift you know, just take care of her. Okay". Taehyung smiled as he said.
Jin chuckled and said as he hugged her "Don't worry bro, that's the most precious thing to me. I will take good care of her".
"Mm..good for you. " Taehyung chuckled as he nodded.

Time skipped.
They entered their room.
Jin grabbed Arin's hand from her back and pulled towards his chest as she was about to get into the bed. "You ain't going to gift me anything,mm ?" He asked looking down at her.
Oops, I forgot to gift him. She scolded herself on her head."mm- sorry I haven't bought you a gift " She said teasing him making a puppy face. "You, serious ?" He asked. "Mm-hmm" She nodded. "Okay then" he released her making a sad face and approached to the bed.Arin smiled secretly and pulled him towards her. "A-what ?" He scoffed. "Aren't you going to get your gift" ? She asked. "You said you don't have any gift for me." He pouted and looked away."Pabo" She chuckled."How can I even forget to gift my precious love" She said and took out a beautiful gift from her pocket.He was surprised.He took it and unwrapped it.He found a lock of love."You like it ? She asked."Of course,I loved it". He said smiling.
She then lifted her toe to reach his height approaching her lips towards him.He saw her struggling to reach his heigh. He smiled and lifted her up. Arin wrapped her arms around his neck and pecked him on his lips.They both chuckled."Happy Birthday my December love".She said and hugged him putting her head on his shoulder.Jin chuckled over her cuteness and put her down.
"Maybe I can expect something more as a gift rn !!" He smirked and laughed.Her heart started beating fast.She got what he's trying to say.He brushed his hair back and looked down as he pulled her again by her waist."Mm ?" He asked humming.She grinned. "W-wha~" She was cutted off by a sudden kiss that landed on her lips by him.She felt it getting deeper as he ran his hands through her waist.She felt tickles all over her body but anyways she liked it."I love you" He whispered smiling in the middle of the kiss."I love you too"She said it smiling.She felt like forever is here and she don't want to look back whatever she struggled with those days.Jin just want to keep his heart and soul here with her as he cupped her cheeks with all full of love. She chuckled.Her beautiful voice of giggles drove him crazy "How come your so cute ?" He whispered again and his face moved to her neck.They wanted to pour all their love and emotions on each other's.The distance they suffered for long has now turned into an unmeasureable affection and understanding between them.

Flashback -

Arin ran towards the bus. "Why do I always manage to get late."She scolded herself and pulled her bag to her shoulder as she got on the bus.Luckily she found a seat.She sighed panting as she was running to get the bus and sat there.She then took out a book from her bag to read. She's such a bookworm.
Her eyes fell on her front seat. Her eyes widened as she saw Seokjin sitting infront of him facing her who was sleeping."Oh.!! him again".She said to herself.He wore a hoodie and a spectacle on his nose. He looked like an angel while sleeping."She couldn't control herself and smiled over the boy's cuteness."Omo, why's he so cute".She said to herself and smiled as she was blushing. She couldn't take her eyes off him.She was lost staring at him.Seokjin woke up a bit from his sleep and extended his arms yawning.He caught Arin smiling over him. She flinched and took her book in a sudden to cover her face."Ottoke, I'm such a dumbo".She scolded herself mummbling."I'm doomed, what should I do now, he caught me staring at him." Jin noticed she was blabbing something behind her book.He chuckled and shook his head.He found her cute.He already knew maybe she liked him that's why he caught her staring at him a few times. To be honest he fell for her too the way she acted after getting caught red-handed by him."It's the same girl from my school.The topper,who act weird."He chuckled and smirked.The bus had reached it's destination.People started getting off the bus.She's still covering her face out of embarrassment.
He chuckled again and got up from his seat and approached towards her.Arin saw a tall and lean figure standing in front of him. "Ya.!! " He said.She lifted her head up still book on her face with her eyes on him.It was Jin,Kim Seokjin with his hands on his pocket "You're so cute, you know" He said and left the bus smiling.Her eyes just widened with surprise over those words. She couldn't say anything.Her heart started to beat so fast. It felt like exploding."Omo" She said as she touched her cheeks with her palms.It felt warm. "W-wha~" She said on her head. She felt dizzy."What did he just say ?"
