A date??

The next day Mina had already left for her office work. Xaoing too woke up at the same time when Mina woke up. Chaeyoung was sleeping peacefully in Mina's bed. Mina made a cup of coffee with two glasses of strawberry milk. She toasted some bread and prepared some eggs. She kept Chaeyoung's breakfast at the table of the bedroom. Mina sighs as Chaeyoung had once again threw the blanket. "Aish, she really wants to get a cold" Mina says as she covers Chaeyoung again with the blanket. She writes a note saying,"me and Xaoing are heading to my work, lime you said yesterday your parents had called you so I am taking Xaoing to give you less trouble. Come home early I will be taking you guys somewhere"

Chaeyoung wakes up after an hour. It's already 7 am. She cleans up the bed and as she was going down she notices her breakfast covered in the table right beside her. Chaeyoung smiles seeing that. 'You can definitely be a wife material Melony, what a tragic that Xao lost his dad, it must have been very hard for her as she lost her husband and had to raise him as single mom' Chaeyoung thought. She takes her bath, cleans up and sits down for the breakfast. While munching the toast she notices a note on the side. She reads the note and remembers how her mom had called her yesterday saying it was an emergency.

Chaeyoung quickly wears her dress. She wore a white long coat with small heels and a pair of plain glasses. She grabbed her small bag and headed towards her home. There she saw her mom and dad in a formal attire. She couldn't think of anything. Her mom grabs her hand and they got on her dad's car. "Mom is everything alright what's the matter, why did you called me all of a sudden" Chaeyoung questions. "Nothing much sweetheart you will know it soon" Miss. Son replies.

The car stopped at "The Atlantic Foodland." All of the three got off and moved towards the door. Chaeyoung still couldn't process anything. "Ah here they are" someone spoke from behind. All of them went to him. "Long time no see Mr. Son, hopefully it won't be the last time" the man speaks. "Of course, if everything goes well it won't be the last time Mr. Park"  Mr. Son tells. Chaeyoung could finally process what was happening. Her parents yet again made fool out of her and arranged a guy for her. Chaeyoung left out a big sigh unknowingly getting the attention of everyone there. "Oh you must be Chaeyoung, I have heard a lot about you, your daughter is more pretty in real life" Mr. Park commented. Chaeyoung bowed to them forcefully. "Chaeyoung meet my son Grater, Grater look at your future" the Park guy speaks again.

Chaeyoung scoffs at the remark as his future. "Hi Chaeyoung shii, Grater here I.. you are really pretty" Grater says as he lends out his hand. "Hi" Chaeyoung says as she shooks his hands. Seeing a boy in front of her already made her had enough. 'I should have said them that I am not into guys' Chaeyoung thought. They all settled down at the table. They all gave their oders. Chaeyoung was already bored. Finally the order arrived. They ordered fish, curry, dumplings and wine. After they finished their food the parents stood up. "Why don't we let the kids have their talk? " Mr. Park tells. Mr. Son asks Chaeyoung if that's okay by giving some expressions. Chaeyoung just nods as she already had wasted her time and why not few more.

"So, what are your hobbies Chaeyoung? " Grater speaks. "Eating" Chaeyoung replies. "Oh" Grater just laughs shortly at Chaeyoung answers.  Chaeyoung just rolls her eyes. "I heard that you are a doctor, you must be busy all the time but you still came to meet me I am honoured" Grater replies shyly. Chaeyoung makes a disgusting face in her mind. "Oh it's nothing I was fooled by my parents to come here to meet you" she replies. Grater just shrugs that too. He pours some wine and offers some to Chaeyoung. She declines the offer. Seeing him not pushing her to have some made Chaeyoung realized that he was a gentleman.

They started to feel comfortable around each other now. After few sips of wine Grater already started to talk like a kid. Chaeyoung laughed at his silly jokes. Grater told Chaeyoung his talent of reading palms of the people. Chaeyoung gave him her hand. He examined her hand. Yours hands are quite soft not like mine. Grater showed his hands. Chaeyoung felt that it was true, they were actually really harsh. "So, what do you think about my future?" Chaeyoung questions. "To be honest, my name isn't here, there is someone another waiting for you" Grater replied. He called Chaeyoung to come closer then he whispered in her ears," It's just between two of us okay? " Chaeyoung nodded. "I prefer boys rather than girls" Grater smiled as he said that. He also had a dimple. Chaeyoung felt relieved that thankfully she is saved. "Oh you got a dimple too" Chaeyoung said as she poked it. They both started to laugh.

Chaeyoung will poke Grater's dimple everytime he smiled. His face kind of looks like a kid. "So, we won't be working out together so let's drop it out" Grater suggested. Chaeyoung happily agreed. They talked for a while, poking each other's dimples, laughing and hitting each other's arms and living the best moment unaware of a pair of eye piercing at them. Mina who was supposed to had a meeting also had appointment with the party in "The Atlantic Foodland" Mina noticed them ever since their parents got up to leave them alone. 'Quiet enjoying your date huh Son Chaeyoung' Mina thought as she chopped off the fish's head and proceed to have the lunch. Xaoing who saw that left out a small giggle that went unnoticed by Mina.

After the lunch they told their parents about how they didn't work out and probably had a siblings feeling for each other. Their parents understood them and didn't force them any further. They gave each other a hug. Chaeyoung whispered in Grater's ear, "Get your boy okay, best of luck" Grater whispered back, "Get your someone too." They exchanged their byes and left. Mina's mind couldn't proceed any further. 'How can you just hug anyone so easily, you guys look ugly together' Mina thought in the middle of the meeting. After the meeting was over she took Xaoing to the arcade.

The mother and son played a lot of games there although arcade was the only comfort place for Mina today she couldn't get that feeling. Her mind was full of the smiles, giggles and those flashbacks of all their touches and hugs. Mina took Xaoing to the car with all the gifts that they won. She drived to her office. She went to her main room and took out a paper with lists of girls name in it. Mina sighs as she still couldn't find that one girl. The girl behind her sleepless nights. How badly she wanted to thank the girl but she didn't know anything about her. She gave her assistant a call informing her to double the speed of the investigation.

Finally at 7pm Mina drived back to her home. Chaeyoung still wasn't there. Mina sighed as she didn't saw Chaeyoung any where. 'You are probably with that horse head' Mina thought. She took a cool bath and went towards the kitchen. She cooked some chicken with rice. She prepared some orange juice. She made some eggs and closed them. She waited and waited for Chaeyoung but she wasn't there. She gave Xao his dinner. She was waiting for Chaeyoung so she could eat dinner with her. After the dinner Xao was send to his room. Xao happily went to his room and watched some cartoons.

Finally at 10pm there was a knock on the door. Mina who was waiting for Chaeyoung had slept on the dinning table. She hurriedly went to open the door just to see Chaeyoung with his dad beside. Mina who was going to blast out to the younger didn't do anything after seeing Chaeyoung's dad. She bowed to him. "I was asking Chaeyoung to stay at our's place as it was raining but she insisted to come here, finally we agreed after the rain got less." Mr. Son spoke. "It's okay Mr. Son her safety is more important" Mina replied. Mr. Son left as soon as he handed Chaeyoung to Mina.
