Chef Son

Mina and Chaeyoung again slept for almost two hours. Chaeyoung slowly opened her eyes and realized someone hugging her from back. She turned back and started to blush as she saw Mina hugging her. Their faces were closer, one more inch and they will end up kissing. While Chaeyoung was looking at Mina's face with not so much distance between them Mina suddenly opened her eyes.

"It's creepy to look at someone who is sleeping you know Mrs. Myoui? " Mina spoke. Chaeyoung just stayed silent and remembered how she ended up here. She got embarrassed that how she ran to Mina like a baby and cried infront of her. Thinking all of it made Chaeyoung blushing. "Oh really? but I wasn't looking at you Melony" Chaeyoung replies. "Yeah whatever" Mina says as she proceeds to sleep for some more time. Chaeyoung gets up from the bed but before she could do anything a hand pulled her back to the bed.

"Melony what are you doing?" Chaeyoung asks as she tries to escape Mina's grip. Mina successfully takes Chaeyoung to the same sleeping position. Mina puts her arms around Chaeyoung's waist and speaks, "So here's the deal, I carried you from my study room to here, helped you to calm down and you even didn't thanked me, at least I should get a thank you right?" Mina questions. "And what if I don't thank you?" Chaeyoung replies.

Mina scoots towards Chaeyoung and says, "Then sleep with me, you also didn't let me finish my project and now you disturbed my sleep too. " Chaeyoung rolls her eyes but still ends up agreeing. Mina smiles at victory. Chaeyoung hugs Mina back just to feel safe. Chaeyoung knows how important is health for Mina and as she has insomnia she hardly can sleep without any medications.

Mina and Chaeyoung again drifts to their dreamland. After few hours they heard a knock waking up both of them. Mina and Chaeyoung walks towards the door to see little Xaoing on the door. Mina leans downwards and strokes her son's hair. "What's the matter Xao? " she asks. As soon as she asks him a hungry stomach sound makes both Mina and Chaeyoung guilty. They forget about Xaoing. They both give each other embarrassed look. "I will cook something for us" Chaeyoung speaks. "Make yourself comfortable then" Mina replies as she shows her the way.

Chaeyoung happily gets down to see a big kitchen at the bottom floor. She looks at all the cabinets and boxes. She checks entire fridge just to see different kinds of vegetables, fruits and finally some strawberries. Chaeyoung sighs as she didn't saw anything to make a proper lunch with. She remembers bringing many instant noodles and chips with her from her home. She runs towards the room and Mina wasn't there. Maybe she was already working for her meeting for tomorrow.

Chaeyoung grabs two spicy flavoured ramens, one plain and three packets of potato chips. She quickly boils eggs and noodles and makes their lunch in less than 10 minutes. She calls Xaoing down and gives him his plain noodles. The little boy slurps the noodles happily. Chaeyoung also eats her with Xaoing. She takes Mina's one and goes to her study room. "Aa.. that was quite fast what did you made?" Mina questions. Chaeyoung keeps Mina bowl on her table. Mina gives Chaeyoung what look. Chaeyoung does the same. "You made this, do you want us to die? " Mina questions.

"You won't be dying with just a bowl of ramen, I have been eating it since my childhood and look I am still alive"Chaeyoung replies with slightly annoyed tone. "I won't eating this unhealthy food, I leave this as an excuse for today but no junk food in my house from tomorrow" Mina says. "Take this I won't be eating them and I guess you gave Xao a bowl of noodles too right? " Mina questions in pissed off tone. Chaeyoung just nods. "Don't you know he can't be having junk food, it is harmful for his health." Chaeyoung just scoffs. "For your kind information I am a doctor and not you, I know a bowl of noodles doesn't harm your body Mina." Chaeyoung answers.

"Whatever this will be first and last time you will be cooking any junk food here" Mina says. Chaeyoung had a smirk on her face. She doesn't leave Mina's study room. "What do you want again little one? " Mina questions. "Eat your lunch" Chaeyoung says in a bossy tone. "Didn't you hear me out I won't be having junk food" Mina replies still focusing in her project. Chaeyoung gets a spoonful of the noodles and shoves into Mina's mouth without Mina noticing Chaeyoung's moves.

Mina was going to spit out them but Chaeyoung spoke again," If you think of throwing it out you won't like what i will do next." Mina sees her mouse in Chaeyoung's hand ready to click the delete button of her presentation. Mina gives her don't do it look but Chaeyoung being Chaeyoung doesn't stops. Mina swallows the noodles. She feels odd that it tasted great. Chaeyoung feels proud of Mina's expression. "See it's good, now finish it all" Chaeyoung says. Mina sighs as she can't fight with this little devil anymore. She just nods and continues to type her presentation.

Seeing Mina focusing again on her presentation Chaeyoung gets spoonful of noodles and gives it to Mina. Mina just opens her mouth forcefully. Chaeyoung shoves them one by one spoon in her mouth until it gets finished. "See it's tasty and you are still alive" Chaeyoung says in teasing voice. "Whatever as I said it's the first and last time, now go accompany Xao I will come down in few minutes" Mina says. Chaeyoung happily takes the empty bowl from the room and goes down.

Xao had already finished his bowl. He gives Chaeyoung a look as if asking that Mina ate them or not. Chaeyoung understood what he meant, she showed him an empty bowl from her hand. Xaoing smiles showing his dimples that his mom ate something unexpected. Mina was always health conscious. She never was someone involving in consuming junk food. Chaeyoung replies the same dimple smile. She pats Xao's head and moves to wash the dishes.

Xao also goes towards Chaeyoung she carries him and puts him on the table beside the wash basin. "See chef Son can make even your health conscious momma eat ramen" Chaeyoung says and gets a small giggle from Xaoing. Xao feels happy that there is now someone who can make his momma do something that she had never did. Xao feels like having a complete family since his birth. "Mommy" Xao speaks making Chaeyoung to stop everything she is doing. She turns towards him again. "Xao say it again" Chaeyoung says. "Mommy mommy mommy" Xao says it more than once making Chaeyoung smile like the happiest person alive.

Chaeyoung wipes her hands and carries Xao making him swing in her arms. Xao lefts out a big laugh everytime she swings him. Chaeyoung  keeps him on her arms. Xaoing leans closer to her and gives her a small peck on her cheeks. Chaeyoung does the same to Xao. Both look at each other returning their dimple smile to each other. Mina who was looking at them from the stairs couldn't help but smile. Seeing Xaoing being happy with Chaeyoung makes her feel that it was the best decision to  have Chaeyoung here. After seeing Chaeyoung and Xoaing bonding Mina quietly leaves towards her room with a cute smile plastered on her face.
