"Ow! Why'd you do that Smile?"
A boy with dirty blonde hair shouted as he rubbed a bite mark on his scared arm.
He muttered curses under his breath as he heard footsteps rushing towards him.
His empty eye sockets met familiar dark blue ones. The blonde quickly backed away, seeing the full view of the boy with dark blue eyes.
Black and greasy hair, blood stained white hoodie, black dress pants with black shoes to match.
The blonde knew this man well. His trademark smile that was forever engraved in his face. "What are you doing, Ben?"
The raven spoke to the blonde named Ben, "I told you to not annoy Smile this week, why'd you go near him?"
"I was curious." Ben replied, looking down at his bite mark that was now slowly fading away by little pixels.
The raven pet the dog, Smile, for a moment before exiting the forest with Ben.
They walked in silence, only the sound of the leaves and branches being crushed under their feet.
"Sorry." Ben muttered finally breaking the silence.
"It's fine, just don't disobey me again." The raven announced before pausing.
His eyes landed on familiar pale skin and jet black hair. "Oh, Jeffery, It's wonderful seeing you here."
"Jane, what are you doing here? I thought you were banned from this forest."
"Correct, but, I wanted to see how the crazy love birds were doing. Is that too much?" She asks flashing her eyes between Jeff and Ben under her plastic mask.
Ben looked at her with a very unpleasant face that makes her mutter curses under her breath.
"Come on, Jeff, let's leave while we still have our patience." Ben said loudly as he began to walk away. After a few steps, he realized that Jeff wasn't following him. He turned around confused.
"No, I've had it with Jane. All she's done is be a nuisance the whole time we were together, and I'm sick of it." Jeff said, spitting the hatred out of his mouth.
"Is that so? Do you also want this back?" Jane says wielding around a familiar knife. Jeff growled.
"Jeff, you should just-"
"No!" Jeff shouted, cutting Ben off causing his ears to droop slightly, "That's my knife! I want it back, now!"
"My, my, Jeffery, That's no way to ask things back now is it? What's the magic word?" Jane teased making Jeff take out Jane's knife he kept.
Jane was surprised he kept it for this long. "Fair trade." Jeff said, smiling under his carved smile.
Jane honestly couldn't care less for her own knife, as long as she had one. She doesn't understand why a knife is so important to him.
Jane quickly grew bored and threw the knife back and Jeff.
He repeated her action, except with full force, cutting her pale arm. Jane's eyes widen underneath her mask before walking away, leaving her knife behind.
Jeff felt triumphant as he gazed at his knife then at Jane's back, "Don't show up again, bitch."
Jeff looked around finding no familiar blonde hair.
He walked in the direction of the house and turned around from time to time, making sure he wasn't hiding from him.
He was, he didn't look terrified, but more apathetic about it.
Jeff stared at the small blonde, "Glad you're here. I thought you left without me.."
"I should've left without you." Ben says as he rises from the ground. He past himself down and continues off in the direction of the house.
Jeff could feel his anger rise again at Ben's words. He never use to be that cruel to him, nor even speak to him that way.
Jeff followed with only one thought in mind, 'Where'd Ben go?'
