Chapter 15

/ after the final battle \

I sat next to bill and George at Fred's funeral. Tears running down all our faces. I can't believe he's gone. It came to George saying a few words. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it.

Me: "you can do it"

He smiled slightly and walked up. He got most of the way through it before breaking down crying. I rushed up and hugged him and took over his speech.

Me and George sat back down and I gave him a side hug.

George: "I miss him"

Me: "me too, georgie"

Bill grabbed my hand as I leaned my head on George's.

After the funeral me and Bill went to our house. We recently moved into our own house. I sat down on the sofa and placed my hand on the bottom of my stomach.

Bill sat down next to me. I laid down and put my head on his lap. He started to play with my hair. I need to tell him, I know I do.

I know you're wondering... tell him what? I'm pregnant. It's not the right time but it happened.

Bill: "babygirl?"

I know he'll be happy but Fred's not long died, it's the wrong time.

Bill: "angel?"

Me: "mhm sorry, what, love?"

Bill: "you seem distracted"

Me: "I need to tell you something"

Bill: "baby? What is it?"

I sat up and crossed my legs, facing him. I looked down at my lap and played with my hands.

Me: "well um I know it's probably the worst timing but um I'm sorry but uh I'm"

Bill: "darling, just tell me, please"

Me: "I'm pregnant"

Bill: "WHAT!? Really?!"

Me: "really"

He grasped my cheek in his hand and lifted my head to look at him. He caressed my cheek with his thumb. He had tears in his eyes. He leaned in and kissed me softly.

I moaned softly as he pulled away. He smiled at me and placed a hand on my stomach.

Bill: "there's a baby in there"

I smiled widely.

Me: "yea there is, baby"

Bill: "how long have you known, angel?"

Me: "a couple weeks..."

Bill: "why did you wait so long?"

Me: "it was the wrong time to"

Bill: "I wish you would've told me sooner"

Me: "I'm sorry, love"

Bill: "it's okay, princess"
