Getting distracted was something Gwen was all the used to. Most time she wouldn't notice she was staring off in the distance or started rambling about a different subject. But there had always been one thing Gwen had her full attention for. Or more, one person.

"Stacey, love, darling of my life, would you be so kind as to explain to me what we just learned in Maths?" Gwen asked Stacey with a wide grin and pleading eyes.

"Gemma, Mrs. Parks asked us multiple times if we understood the formula," Stacey chuckled while walking back home from the club meeting together, Gwen walking with her mint bike next to her.

"I know, but there was this squire outside the classroom and he kept trying to stuff his little cheeks with nuts but they kept falling out so he kept stuffing them back in—you get what I mean," Gwen sighed in defeat as they neared Stacey's house.

"I'll send you the notes I made, don't worry," Stacey smiled at the brunette who had a smile creeping onto her lips as well. "But when you're back in London you're gonna have to find a new notes person." Stacey joked with a sad undertone which brought Gwen right back in her feels. The whole club knew by now she wasn't moving. But Gwen was yet to tell Stacey.

"Yeah, Stacey, about that—" She tried but got interrupted.

"I'm sorry, Gemma, but I should really get inside. Can finish the conversation later?" Stacey asked and Gwen nodded while hiding her defeat.

"Of course, love. Have a good night." She bid the blonde before hopping onto her bike and paddling away. She locked it in the bike rack by the apartment and made her way to the top floor where she threw open the door to her apartment and let herself fall onto the couch with an annoyed groan.

"You still haven't told Stacey the truth, haven't you?" Her father chuckled while patting her hair.

"I'm trying, I really am. But it's as if the universe wants me to move back to London! Because every time I try to tell her something gets between it!" Gwen exclaimed as Mirabelle came out of the kitchen with a smile but it fell when she saw the disturbed Gwen.

"Are you alright, darling?" She asked kindly.

"No! The universe hates me!" Gwen cried out and slumped her way to her room where Kingsley was already waiting for her return and her pets. But back in the living room, Mirabelle turned to Peter with a sad look.

"So, when are you telling her?" She asked him as she laid her head on his shoulder and Peter let out a sad sigh while putting his arm around Mirabelle's shoulders.

"I'm not sure. She already has problems she has to deal with. Knowing her mother is back in Stoneybrook won't do her any good."

Back in Gwen's room, the brunette lay on her bed cuddling with Kingsley while listening to some music that got interrupted by her phone ringing.

"Ello, love," She smiled when she read Stacey's contact number.

"Omg, Gemma, you are not going to believe what I've been invited to!"
