Sea Monster Mash

ZACK, CODY, Freya, and Bailey walked into the lobby after a long day of exploring the Galapagos islands while they were docked.

"Ah! Welcome back!" Mr. Moseby smiled. "Did you enjoy your first excursion to the Galapagos islands?"

"I couldn't believe it! There were penguins, and lizards, and snakes." Bailey exclaimed.

"Oh my!" Mr. Moseby gasped.

"Hey everybody, check out the cool shirt! 'I-guana hug.' " Woody said, coming up to them, completely decked out in merchandise. He held his arms out to Zack and Freya but they just stared at him with a displeased face.

"I-guana barf." Zack gagged pulling himself and Freya away from their curly-haired friend.

"You know, these islands really make you want to appreciate the beauty and fragility of nature." Bailey commented.

"Zack, you have a rare Galapagos cricket on your arm!" Cody gasped. "There's only four left in the world!"

"Bug! Bug! Bug!" Zack screamed flicking the cricket off his arm. "Die! Die! Ew ew ew!" He walked off mumbling to himself.

"Freya rubbed Cody's shoulder lightly, seeing his sad face before adding, "Now there are only three."

Freya sat on the sky deck, drinking a smoothie when Zack and Woody came running up to her.

"Hey babe!" Zack smirked hugging her from behind. "So...about that science project." He trailed off.

"Will you help us?" Woody blurted.

"I'm really sorry guys, but I already did my project with Addison." Freya frowned at their disappointed faces. "But maybe next time the three of us can work together." The boys gave her sad faces before walking away with their heads hung low.

A few hours later, Freya was hanging out in Bailey and London's cabin because she had nothing else to do after she and Addison finished their project. Freya had to cut down a lot of the words because of how much Addison added on.

"Well, I'm all done with my science report." London smiled, stapling her papers together. "What do you guys think?" She handed the papers Bailey. Freya looked over Bailey's shoulder.

"I think..." Bailey began, flipping through the papers to see that it was a hundred dollar bill on every page. "You just stapled a $100 bill to each page. You can't turn this in."

"Oh you're right! Forgot to put my name on it." London sighed. "Should I spell it out in pearls or rubies?"

"Neither, London. You cant just—" Freya started before cutting herself off. "You have enough rubies to write your name?"

"Never mind!" Freya shook her head. "Back on topic."

"The point is, you cant bribe the teacher." Bailey told London with a stern face.

"I can't? Stupid no-bribing sea school!" London scoffed. "Then I'll just do my project with you two!"

"I'm sorry but I already finished my project with Addison." Freya frowned.

"And I'm working on mine with Cody." Bailey said.

"How could you guys?" London gasped. "Roommates and besties are supposed to help each other!"

"And what exactly have you done to help me?" Bailey asked making London scoff. London was about to say something before Bailey cut her off. "Besides letting me room with you, which everyone made you do."
