Lost at Sea (Part 1)

"WELCOME, students, to a new and exciting year at Seven Seas High." The voice over the intercom boomed as Freya walked out onto the sky deck, luggage in hand, after a long vacation away from not only her closest friends, but her boyfriend. When she noticed two girls standing near the juice bar, she ran over to them.

"Bailey, London!" Freya exclaimed, dropping her luggage to the ground and opening her arms to hug them.

"Freya!" The two girls yelled back, running to her, reciprocating the hug.

"I really missed you guys! What'd you do over break?" Freya asked, her face starting to ache from all of her smiling.

"Three words; went shop-ing." London said with a giggle.  "What about you two?"

"Two words; plow-ing." Bailey exasperated. "You, Freya?"

"One word; slept. Oh and texted Zack." Freya shrugged, sighing. "It was a pretty uneventful summer." London patted her back, pitying her, in her words, less fortunate friend.

"I can't believe I'm seconds away from seeing my boyfriend, the most wonderful man in the world!" Bailey grinned

"You dumped Cody? About time!" London laughed.

"Sup, Seven Sea-ers?" Woody exclaimed from behind the three girls, Zack and Cody standing beside him.

"I think Cody got taller. I can stop slouching!" Bailey squealed with Freya and London, jumping up and down. When they got closer, Freya and Zack ran over to each other and quickly embraced in a hug.

"I missed you!" Freya told him, not letting go yet.

"I missed you too, babe. That time away was pure torture." Zack said with a sigh.

"Zack! Your voice got deeper. And you grew!" Freya exclaimed.

"Yep! I guess you could say I've matured." Zack gloated, looking down at Freya who still had her arms wrapped around his waist, and kissed the top of her head.

"I'll believe that when I see it." She smiled at him with narrowed eyes. Freya noticed Woody standing near them and turned to him. "Hi Woody! How was your break?"

"Oh it was great! Except for my stepdad, Steve." Woody began, rolling his eyes. "My mom finally let him move in. But if you ask me, that marriage is a sham." Woody scoffed with crossed arms.

"Anyways..." Zack trailed off awkwardly, "watch this!" He walked over to Mr. Moseby who was attending to some new passengers. "Hey Mr. Moseby."

"I'll be with you in a moment sir!" Mr. Moseby replied, not turning to look at him.

"Did you hear that? He called me sir!" Zack grinned turning towards Freya and Woody.

"He thinks you're a knight! My lord!" Woody laughed.

"Oh! Your voice changed." Mr. Moseby said, after noticing that it was Zack who had called for him. "I hope your behavior has too."

"Well, we went away boys, came back men." Zack smiled.

"Oh good! Now you can be tried as an adult."

Zack and Freya were lounging at one of the tables on the sky deck, catching up and drinking smoothies together until Cody came up to them and intruded their alone time.

"Yeah— sure, go ahead. Interrupt us!" Zack sarcastically exclaimed, glaring at his brother.

"I can't believe Bailey laughed at me." Cody complained, pulling up a seat in between the couple and plopping down in it.
