Guy Germaine~
I was nervous talking to Madison. She was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever talked to. I figured I would have to get used to talking to her because we have every class together. My teammates are in some of my classes as well. I was one of the mid people in our group. I wasn't loud when speaking but I talked to a lot of people.
I am usually very outgoing however, it is just my first day so I'm kinda nervous. But at least I have hockey practice after school and I can't wait for that. I am very outgoing and confident when I'm playing hockey, I take it seriously. Almost as serious as cake eater.
Madison didn't seem like much of an extrovert. She wasn't acting like much of an extrovert but then why would they send her down to give the new kids a tour. The pieces just don't fit together. When I met her at the office it didn't look like she was happy to be there and usually people who give tours are peppy and cheerful. I'm just confused I guess.
Lunchtime came around and our team already picked our table out for the year as every other group in high school does. Many conversations were happening at once but mine was with Dwayne and Connie. "I'm just saying that Raspberry flavored things are superior," I stated cuz it was facts. Then Connie puts our conversation to a end. "Hey look it's Maddie. It looks like she is trying to find somewhere to sit" Connie said in a excited tone. She was walking with somebody who I assume is her best friend. I felt bad and didn't want her to sit with complete strangers or worse in the bathroom.
"Invite her over here Guy she is really nice. I found out we have first together and that's English. You know how I feel about English." Dwayne suggested. " yea invite her over here!" The rest of the team started to mention happily. So I smiled liking the idea of where this was going and gave her a wave with a gesture to come sit where I was. She smiled and nodded. Gosh I love that smile. I could watch it for quite a while.
She walked over and there was only one seat open. Now I felt horrible cuz she had her friend with her and the whole group was staring at her in awkwardness. Until her friend spoke up. "Hey Maddie I'm gonna go to the library to look for some books so you can stay here if you would like".
"Are you sure Kirra we can go together" Maddie suggested
"No that's ok" I assumed her name was kirra, responded.I had a side smile on because i felt bad there were not enough seats but at least Maddie stayed. And I was glad she did.
"No no I definitely have to agree with Guy, raspberry things are amazing. Ever had Raspberry marble cake, or raspberry cheesecake ice cream?" Maddie stated. I didn't think it was possible to love someone this quick but I was wrong.
"Exactly!!!! Thank you Madison" I said in exhaustion of arguing my amazing point. She is too good to be true."Oh sorry guys I have to get to class early cuz I must have a conversation with the teacher so I'll see y'all later" Maddie said in an apologetic tone.
"Oh! I have the same class I'll just go with you." I stated
"No that's ok it's more of a private thing."
"Ok I understand" I said with a nod and smile to ease the tensionMaddie walked off but she was adorable doing it. She had this natural strut that made her look so confident. She always had her shoulders back and her head held high.
The bell had rung and I was walking pretty quickly to my class and I was at the doorway when I heard "I don't understand why do I have to do Cafeteria Cleanup that's so dumb," I overheard the voice of who sounded to be Maddie.
"I'm sorry but next time don't flip a kid off when he asks for a help on the notes." The teacher Ms. Bohn said.
"How do you want me to respond to that? Next time should I say oh yea here I'll just do all the work for you. Just kick up your feet and relax while I do all the work" Maddie said in an extremely sarcastic tone.
"We are done arguing about this Madison. Cafeteria cleanup tomorrow and if your late you'll do it the whole week." The teacher said sternly.I waited a couple seconds to enter the room to make it seem like I didn't hear the conversation. I walk over to her and i just talked. I figured I shouldn't bring it up. She didn't speak much and I could tell something was wrong. I knew what was wrong but I couldn't say anything, she would deny it. And what was I gonna say. I couldn't bring up the fact I was listening to the conversation.
Later that day...
"Finally! It's over! The first day is over!!!!!" Adam exclaimed with excitement that the day had ended at Eden Hall. "Yea! Now we just have 10 more months and we will be in summer." Fulton said.
Yet the day for us still wasn't over, we had hockey practice/tryouts. We knew that we were on the Jv team but the coach said it was required. I don't know why.
We had made it to the locker rooms and got changed but we discussed an interesting topic. "So do y'all know the one person who didn't get cut from the original team?" Julie asked. "No. They probably quit knowing they were the only one left." Goldberg chuckled.
I didn't care for the person that wasn't us. They were the newbie here I mean we've been together for years, basically brothers and sisters at this point.
Charlie suggested to mess around and play mutiny before the new coach gets here. We ended up playing after all and Surprise surprise we got in trouble.
"I'm your new coach you can call me coach or coach Orion" he said sternly
"Well you can call me Charlie" Charlie said in response
Some more talking was happening but my attention was caught by someone who was waiting by the boards almost as if they were waiting for a time to enter.
"It's going to take real will-" coach Orion started before signaling for the boy to come over. Their skating skills looking amazing I mean he didn't stumble a little when starting to catch speed, like the rest of us did. It was graceful.
"You all may have heard that somebody from the original tryout is here to stay in the team" he said kinda happy about it. "Mad-dawg take it away" he said with an eye roll knowing they were dramatic, which was kinda funny to us. The name stuck out to me however. Mad-dawg.The player removed their helmet and I gotta say my jaw dropped. It was Maddie. Her hair flowed in its ponytail when she took her helmet off. Doing that she earned some gasps and shocked faces. We all knew her, we just didn't know this part of her.
"Hey y'all! I'm a part of your team" Maddie said with an awkward side smile and a little excitement. I couldn't tell how she was feeling that her teammates were not playing with her this year, and it's because of us. I imagined she felt sad but she sure didn't show it. We all thought she was a dude but she was not at all."Tell them more about yourself Maddie." Coach Orion demanded of her. "Umm let's see I am originally from Orlando Florida but I came to Minnesota because of events in my life. I have played hockey since peewees. And I am a natural blonde. That's all folks thank I am Maddie!" She finished saying. We all chuckled at her last statements but it quickly died down after looking at the annoyed look of Orion. "Ok now that she has introduced herself let's start on laps!" Coach yelled before blowing his whistle.
Maddie skated off faster than any of us. She was so angelic when skating.A/n: so this chapter is quite long I think but yea so leave comments and votes. Also this was Guy's perspective soooo look at that. Anyway 1630 words.
