We Stick Together

Chapter 2

Luke sighed and looked in the distant watching the sun rise from the east but that didn't take his breath away, what took his breath away was the kingdom bellow. The kingdom of peace, freedom, and fairness, this is the place where they can live peacefully and away from the past, this is their home now.

"Sapphire Kingdom..."Luke whispered to himself breathing in the summer air.

Luke started packing his bags as Amelia and Justin pack their own while eating the food they savaged, Luke sighed looking at the busy kingdom he doesn't know why but he could sense someone special is waiting for him all he has to do is look.

"By my calculations we'll be in the kingdom by sundown." Justin announced with his mouth full of apple. Amelia stood up shouldering her leather pack and started strapping her sword to her waist.

"Then sundown it is." she pulled Justin up on his feet.

Luke wrapped his arms around them, "Well this is it lads, we finally made it. Just a few more steps and we're there in no time.", he grinned.

"I suppose," shrugged Justin sluggishly, "all that matters is we getaway from here as soon as possible."

By the time Justin finished his sentence Luke and Amelia were running down the mountain cheering and laughing looking back at Justin who was is shock. "You bastards! I'll kill you!"

Justin started running down the mountain catching up to them, Luke jumped off his rock and headed toward the woods, Amelia was right on his heels with Justin panting but grinning with satisfaction, this was their purpose. Living like peasants back home but here in the woods where the grass is greener, the wind kissing their faces, and the smell of freedom is where they live like kings. Here they're alive.

By the time the sun was setting the three siblings made it to Sapphire Kingdom, the streets where lit by lanterns hanging from each house, children where playing wooden swords with their best suits and dresses on; mothers an fathers where heading toward the castle.

"What do you think is going on?" Amelia asked her brothers, in respond they both shrugged. In the distance they saw three teenagers the same size and age, two young men and lady, "Shall we?"

Luke and Justin watched as their sister hide in the shadows heading towards the group, they then decides to follow her example Luke then caught sight of a young blonde man talking to his buddy which Justin was watching as the girl was looking for something in her purse. The girl looked beautiful Luke must admit but she wasn't his type, to big on the chest and perfect on the rest of her body.

Amelia the grabbed the girl who let out a muffle yelp the boys didn't even hear their girly friend, Justin then grabbed the boy with dark hair and hazel eyes, to Luke's surprise the man he kept his eyes on freak out and finally Luke lunged at his prey and dragged him into the shadows putting a fit.

After what seems like forever Luke walked out of the shadows with the guys suit on, a light brown suit with swirl designs, creamy sides with swirl designs and crosses in the middle of each; along with his sword attached to his hips.

"About time." Amelia huffed, she wore a purple dress with dark purple on the sides and sleeves, as for the designs vines going around to her chest where the lace lyes and her leather boots covered by her dress. Luke must admit his sister looks beautiful but what his eyes hated the most was her hair filled with twigs and leaves also she didn't even bother cleaning her face.

"Amelia? I didn't notice it was you, I mean that body is yours, yes, but the face and the hair not a good picture. I ruined everything." Luke turned to see Justin who complimented on their sister, well half sister for him.

"y-y-you rude imbisle, how dare you?!" Amelia screeched at Justin who didn't even flinch. Luke sighed knowing where this was heading.

"Amelia, Justin is right-"

"Of course I am." Justin grinned pleased with himself.

"-and you", Luke jabbed a finger at Justin, "complement like a gentleman. Understood?"

Justin sighed frowning at the ground. "Fine."

Luke looked him over, he must admit the suit suited well with Justin. Justin was wearing a black velvet cloth, as the sleeves where black leather and had a belt around his waste. Luke noticed Justin's boots were replaced with black leather boots, seems to be the man's boots fitted his size. Luke then turned to Amelia who was cleaning herself with her old blouse and fixing her hair slowly running her fingers through her brown curly hair.

"Now then now that we're here, shall we head to the castle?" he asked grinning while crossing his arms.
