Nick : right guys it's nationals day 1 , you all ready
Cleo : yeah we are
Nick : ok so the first round is female solo , Jude that's you , you ready ?
Jude TH : I haven't had that long to rehearse but I should be ok
Jude : yeah I guess
Cleo : you will do great Babe
(Jude Smiles)
Kenzie : yeah you will smash it , you've got this
Jude : thanks
(Cleo seems a little bothered by how well Jude and Kenzie are getting along)
(At the tour)
(Richelle is doing a solo to president)
(Piper walks past)
Piper TH : Richelle is such an amazing dancer , she deserves so much more
Piper : hey that was really good
Richelle TH : I really don't wanna see Piper right now
Richelle : Thanks..
Richelle : Did you want something ?
Piper : umm me and Finn need to use the rehearsal space..
Richelle TH : oh so it's finn now , cool , cool , cool , cool
Richelle : yep don't worry I'm leaving..
Piper : you don't have to leave , I mean we could spilt the room , you have that side and me and finn on the other
Richelle : why would I want to be in a room with you
(Piper looks down)
Piper : I'm just trying to make things alright between us
Richelle : trust me it's gonna take a lot more than sorry
(Richelle walks out)
Piper TH : I need to fix things
(Back at nationals)
(Jude is about to go on stage)
Cleo : you've got this
Jude : thanks
(Jude goes on stage and does her solo)
Jude TH : when I'm dancing I'm not thinking about Cleo , I'm not thinking about anyone , I'm just dancing
Kenzie TH : Jude's such an amazing dancer
(Cleo notices Kenzie smiling at Jude)
Cleo TH : I can't lose Jude , I have to do something
Cleo : hey Kenzie can we talk ?
Kenzie : yeah sure
Cleo : what's going on with you and Jude ?
Kenzie : what , nothings going on with me and Jude
Cleo : really , because you sat next to her on the coach , you've been talking to her loads
Kenzie : we're friends Cleo
Cleo : look just stay away from Jude
(Kenzie is shocked at Cleo)
Kenzie TH : I can't believe Cleo right now , but I have to do what she says , she is the dance captain
(Jude finishes her solo)
Chuck Anderson : the team moving forward to the duet round is the next step
(Cleo runs over to Jude and hugs her)
Cleo : yes I knew you could do it , I'm so proud of you
(Jude kisses Cleo)
Jude : I love you

(Kenzie sees)
Kenzie TH : recently me and Jude have got kinda close and I don't know I kinda hoped that maybe she liked me , staying away from her is going to be hard
(Jude walks over to Kenzie)
Jude : i did it , I can't believe I actually did it
Kenzie : congrats
(Kenzie walks away from Jude)
Jude TH : that was weird
(Back at the tour)
(Piper and Finn are practicing their duet for tour but piper is distracted right now)
Finn : You ok ?
Piper : yeah I'm fine , sorry I just need a minute
Finn : ok
Piper TH : I am trying to stay focused on this duet , but all I think about is Richelle
(Richelle is sat on her phone and Piper starts staring at her)
Richelle : you got a problem or something ?
Piper : no I just
(Richelle moves away from Piper)
(Finn notices)
Finn TH : I can see that piper still really cares about Richelle , so I wanna help her
(Back at nationals)
Nick : so guys it's the duet time , Cleo , Jude are you ready
Nationals producer : ok guys so you ready to pick the names for the duet round ?
(Cleo and Jude look confused)
Nick : excuse me , what do you mean pick the names ?
Nationals producer : each Team picks two names from the hat and that's the duet , you have 2 hours to make the duet and it works like that
Nick TH : I may or may not have read the nationals Rules
Nick : right ok
Cleo : sorry Nick what's going on ?
Nick : umm I may have made a little mistake with the duet..
Cleo : what do you mean a small mistake ?
Nick : so it looks like your meant to be pick names out of the hat and then those two people do the duet
Cleo : But me and Jude have duet prepared
Nick : well I'm sorry but those are the rules
Cleo TH : I can't believe this is happening !
Nationals producer : so pick two names out of the hat
Nick : ok
(Nick picks two names out of the hat and shows the producer)
Nationals producer : ok so we have Jude and Ethan
(Jude looks at Ethan)
(Cleo walks off)
Cleo TH : this is not how I imagined nationals would go , this is a disaster
Nick : so Jude , Ethan you have two hours to make a duet , good luck..
Ethan : wait what kind of duet ?
Ethan : Nick ? , Nick ?
Jude TH : what just happened ?
(Back on the tour)
(Finn goes over to Richelle)
Finn : hey Richelle can we talk ?
(Richelle sighs)
Richelle : sure why not
Finn : Look piper is sorry for what she did and she really does care about you still
Richelle TH : I don't wanna hear this right now
Richelle : Finn I don't wanna talk about this
(Richelle stands up to walk off)
Finn : why aren't you fighting for her
(Richelle stops and turns around)
(Richelle walks towards Finn)
Richelle : It's not up to me to fight for her , it's up to her ! , She broke my heart finn ! , so this conversation is done !
(Richelle walks off)
Finn TH : I wish there was something I could do to help Richelle and Piper , but I don't know what to do
(Back at Nationals)
(Ethan and Jude are making a duet)
Ethan : maybe we could add a lift ?
Jude : yeah sure
Jude TH : it doesn't feel right dancing with Ethan , with Cleo watching but I guess I don't have a choice
(Cleo is thinking about leaving Nationals)
(Jude and Ethan almost share a moment)
Ethan : yeah I think the duet looks good
Jude : yeah
Ethan : so yeah I'll see you later
Jude : yeah
(Back at the tour)
(Amy goes to her room and sees some flowers)
Amy TH : whoa who are there's from ? , Chad ? , these are so sweet , I didn't know he felt this way
(Cleo calls Piper)
Cleo : hey Piper
Piper : hey Cleo how's nationals ?
Cleo : I don't wanna talk about it
Piper : oh is everything ok ?
Cleo : no not really , Nick messed up the duet , so me and Jude don't even get to dance together anymore and I just feel like I'm losing her
Piper : oh Jude loves you Cleo , don't worry
Cleo : but the thing is I don't know if nationals is where I want to be anymore
Piper : so what are you saying ?
Cleo : I think I'm going to leave nationals
Cleo : oh it's the duets now , so I better go
Piper : ok bye
Cleo : bye
(Jude and Ethan are waiting to go on stage)
Cleo : good luck
Jude : thanks , I wish we could be dancing together
Cleo : yeah me too
(Ethan and Jude go on stage)
Chuck Anderson : well there's definitely chemistry there
(Cleo looks down)
Cleo TH : I do have to admit , this is a good duet , but I wish I was the one to be dancing with Jude
(Ethan and Jude finish their duet)
Chuck Anderson : and the team moving forward to the trios is The next step
(Jude and Ethan hug each other)
(Jude hugs Cleo , but Cleo backs away)
Jude TH : I know Cleo's upset , but I want to cheer her up
(Back on the tour)
(Piper Calls Cleo again)
Piper : hey
Cleo : hey
Piper : are you still thinking of leaving ?
Cleo : yeah why ?
Piper : Richelle has always wanted to go to nationals
Cleo : wait what are you saying ?
Piper : I'm saying give Richelle your spot
(Cleo doesn't know what to say)
Cleo TH : going to nationals has been my one dream , but maybe it's time for a new dream
Cleo : I'll think about it
Piper : ok
Piper TH : if I do this then maybe I at least have a shot at getting back on good terms with Richelle
(Back at nationals)
Cleo TH : I've thought about what piper said and I know what I have to do
(Cleo calls Richelle)
Richelle : hello
Cleo : hey Richelle I have an offer for you
Richelle : ok..
Cleo : you take my spot at nationals
Richelle : what , but Cleo you've wanted to go to nationals for so long
Cleo : I know but everything is going on and I just don't wanna be here anymore
Richelle : so what are you saying ?
Cleo : I'm leaving nationals , so do you say ?
(Jude walks past and hears)
Jude TH : Cleo is leaving , how could she do this to us ?!
