Senior year. The last year of high school, also known as my last year in hell. I thought that going to school would be better but it really isn't. I mean the learning part isn't that bad since I'm pretty smart. It's the people that go there. Elementary school wasn't that bad, but middle school and especially high school were my worst nightmare.

I would be bullied by my sister and her friends about how weird I was. My sister Gabby and her friend Rachael were the queen bees of the school. Like most queen bees they had minions. The people that believed that everything they did was great. They would follow every word told to them in order to please their queens. The minions were known as Chloe, Regina, and Karen.

Oh how I despised them always thinking that they were the best of the best and tormenting other poor students. When they would do it to me I wouldn't really care and just simply ignore them because I finally got to the point where I really just don't give a fuck.

"Isabella! Get down here and start making breakfast!" I heard my mom yell, taking me out of my thoughts. Hurriedly I make my way downstairs and into the kitchen. As I walk in I see my sister there already sitting down at our kitchen island waiting for her breakfast. I begin to make french toast and after that's done I run upstairs to get my backpack and basically sprint out the house before my mom has a chance to spot me.

After leaving I begin my walk towards my worst enemy. School. Once I arrive, I make my way towards the office to get my new schedule and then head to my locker. On my way towards my locker I bump into someone who ends up knocking me onto the ground.

"Why don't you look where you're going?" I heard the guy say as he sticks his hand out towards me to help me up.

"Sorry, I was just thinking." I say looking up at him. "Thank you by the way" I say as I continue towards my locker.

After putting everything into my locker I head to my first period class of the day which is English. As I reach my classroom I make my way towards my seat which is in the back besides the window. Soon everyone begins to walk in and Ms. White begins her lesson. About ten minutes after class starts, a girl and two boys walk in. "Why are you three late to class?" questions Ms. White.

"Well you see, we are new to school and we had a hard time finding the classroom" says the girl.

"Ah yes. Well next time I hope you can make it to class in time. Would you like to introduce yourselves" she says.

"Yes, I'm Mia, this is Lorenzo, and that is Matteo" she says pointing to the guy that I had bumped into in the morning.

"Please sit in the back. Isabella would you raise your hand". I raise my hand and they make their way towards the back to sit next to me. Thankfully Mia was the one sitting besides me.

Ms. White then continues on with her lesson. The bell soon rings and I begin to make my way out the classroom. "Isabella wait" I hear Mia calling me. I continue walking ignoring her. I'm just trying to get out of here and go to my little spot in the back of the school near the cherry trees. Soon I feel a tug at my arm so I turn around and there is Mia along with the other two boys.

"Can I help you?" I question them.

"Sorry, it's just that we are new to the school and we thought that maybe you could be our friend" she says.

"I don't really do 'friends'. Sorry." I tell them and continue on walking. Once I reach my destination I plug in my headphones and begin to read the book that I had brought with me. I then feel somebody sit down besides me and you won't guess who it is. It's Mia, Lorenzo, and Matteo. Ugh couldn't they just leave me alone.

"Why did you guys follow me. Can't you see I want to be alone" I tell them.

"Look, I know that you say you want to be alone but I can tell that you actually hate it" I look at Matteo bewildered. How can he see right through my mask? I do hate being alone, but I've just become accustomed to not having anyone that I never thought somebody would actually want to join me.

"I guess you guys can join me as long as you don't bother me" I tell them with a soft smile.

"Great my first real friend" I hear Mia say while the boys look at her with a 'what the hell are we then' look on their faces. I giggle at that and then continue on reading. I can feel them begin to get bored with how quiet it is so I set my book down. They look at me confused.

"So where did you guys move from" I ask.

"We moved here from New York," Lorenzo tells me.

"So are you guys family?" I asked, and they shook their heads.

"No, we just grew up together since our parents are friends. They decided that we needed a fresh start. So here we are. I nod my head. Soon the bell rings indicating the end of break.

We all had the same schedule so they decided that they would just follow me to each class. By the time lunch came around I had already become great friends with Mia. She is such a nice caring person. She's also really funny and can be rude at times but I know not to take it to heart because that's just how she jokes around. We end up finding a table while the boys go get our lunches. The guys soon come back with our food and we begin to make conversation. We'd just talk about random things and laugh here and there once someone made a joke.

"What are you guys doing sitting next to a nobody" I hear my sister say while her little group of friends begin to laugh.

"Just leave me alone Gabriella" I tell her, and she looks at me fuming because I called her that. She always hated her name.

 "It's Gabby!" she says.

"Look 'Gabby', I'm not doing anything. I'm just minding my own business." She looks at me then smirks looking back at her friends.
