Days pass with little talking between me and my dad, the man having spoken just a few words to both me and Sapnap after he discovered us wrapped around each other at midnight. The next morning wasn't too bad, although Sapnap swears Phil looked at him like he was going to kill him.

"He doesn't hate you," I reassure him for the millionth time after school one day, the brunette driving the two of us to the rink.

"You don't know that," he groans, the stress of championship weekend combined with paranoia surrounding my dad has Sapnap in the worst mood I've seen him in awhile.

"Well look, my dad isn't going to be home until next Monday, that means we have a week and a couple days to do whatever the fuck we want," I reassure him, Phil going on a business trip.

"Oh, yeah, I keep forgetting," a smile comes to his face.

"You know, I wouldn't mind hosting the after party on Saturday," it's the Thursday before championships, the boys practicing before and after school now, Sapnap waking up every morning by five AM.

"Wait, really?" his eyes are off the road for just a moment to give me a small smile.

"Yeah, I know Dream said his parents would be home, so, I dunno, thought I'd offer," I ramble for a minute as we pull into the rink's parking lot.

"That would be perfect," Sapnap says as he turns off the car, "Come to the locker room with me and we can talk to the guys."

Bags are grabbed from the backseat, the two of us making our way inside the rink. I follow him down the brightly lit hallway, the boys locker room next to empty as we arrive. The few people there are underclassmen, none that I recognize.

"Uh, has anyone seen Dream?" Sapnap looks around at his team, the blonde's hockey bag sitting on the ground and his car in the parking lot has both of us confused when we don't see him.

"Um," a ginger I'm fairly certain plays defense clears his throat, "he's with George," he keeps his eyes on the ground.

"Like where?" Sapnap tries again.

No one responds for a moment before the second line center speaks up, "the showers."

"Oh for fucks sake," the brunette groans, quickly turning and grabbing my wrist, pulling me out of the locker room.

I do my best to say goodbye, although Sapnap gives me little time to react before we're heading further down the hall to the shower rooms.

Sapnap slams his fist against one of the doors, then the next, then the last, "Get out!"

"Fuck off!" Dream's voice comes from the other side of the far bathroom, "Little busy!"

"I'm fully aware," Sapnap shouts, lowering his voice as he grabs my hand again, leading me back to the lobby, "For fuck's sake, it's like he's 15 again."

I stifle out a small laugh as we stand in the cold room, the brunette landing a kiss to my cheek before sighing loudly.

"Sorry, I just need him to be focused on the game and not on fucking George," his eyes drop to the ground.

"It's all good," I reassure him, "Now go get dressed, we can talk to him after practice."

Sapanp nods, tilting my jaw upwards to give me one last kiss before jogging down the hallway and into the locker room, more players filing into the rink, all saying hi.

Punz and Boomer are last, the brothers taking a minute to talk to me.

"How's Sap?" Boomer grins, my face flushing with embarrassment.
