2. Interview Time!

- LUKE'S POV -
We took a couple more pics before we head down to the ABS-CBN station.

"Boys! We've been waiting for you." Cathy approached us.

"Uh. Ma'am. Queue na po nung boys." I really can't understand the word. Some girl just approached Cathy as Cath nodded,

"It's your queue. C'mon." She tugged our wrists.

"Here we have the 5 Seconds Of Summer boys. The band that became famous because of 'Hemmo1996'." The interviewer said, that must be our queue.

I remember Hemmo1996. And I will never forget him.
"So, boys. How is it here in the Philippines?" A girl said, as we all sat down. Candy and Cathy, backstage.

"It's really fun here. We got to learn some new words. And we also learned the very interesting culture of this place.'' Ashton answered for us all as we smiled.

"So... I heard that the real reason you came here is because of a special someone." She continued as we nodded.

"And, we also gathered some viral photos of all of you with this girl. Are one of you dating her?" She added.

"No. We aren't dating her." Calum smiled.

"She's a very good friend." Michael bit his lip as he smiled,

"And, Calum. You posted a picture of you and her at the mall. Am I right?'' She smiled at Calum.

"Yeah." Calum answered.

"Actually, she's my sister. I mean, half-sister." I interrupted.

"Oh." She nodded.

"Is she here?" She added.

"Yea. She is." I replied.

"May we call on Luke's half-sister..." the boy interviewer called in Candy.

Candy waved at the crowd and smiled as she took a seat.

"So, what's your name?" The boy interviewer asked.

"Candy Diaz Hemmings." She chuckled.

"How old are you?" He asked.

this boy better not be checking out my sister because if he is, I'm gonna punch the lights out of him.

"Turning 18 this week.'' She said nervously.

- CANDY'S POV -
Wait. I could see Lucy, Katie, and Lauren at the corner of my eye. This can be my chance to tell them I'm leaving.

"Wait. Can I say something?" I stood up and looked at my three best friends

"Yes?'' The girl interviewer asked.

"Um... Lucy, Lauren, Katie. I have something to tell you. Please don't be mad. It's for the best. I'm-- I'm..." I stopped there. No. I couldn't say it.

I ran off the studio and tried to keep my tears from falling. I can't leave my best friends.

They approached me and made me calm.

"What did you wanna tell us?" Katie asked.

"Um. Are you sure you won't be mad?" I pouted.

"Yes." They all said.

"I'm leaving for Australia." I wiped my tears.

"W-What?!'' Lauren shouted.

"I thought you said you won't get mad at me." I looked down at my feet.

"We're not mad. We're just gonna miss you so so so much." They hugged me.

"I promise to always call you, chat with you, and skype you." I held their hands and they started crying too.

They didn't say anything, they just hugged me really tight.

"Thanks for understanding." I smiled.

"When's the flight?" Lucy asked.

"Tomorrow." I pouted.

"You... You-You mean you won't be sp-spening your birthday wi-with us?" Katie said, in between sniffles.

"Yes. I'm so sorry. It's really complicated. I don't have a mother anymore. And my father is in
Australia..." I looked down.

"Oh..." Katie's voice trailed.

They all hugged me and started to cry on my shoulder.

When, the boys approached us.

"Cands! Did you tell 'em?" Michael asked.

"Yeah." I licked my lips.

"And?" Calum's voice trailed.

"It's okay with them.'' I smiled.

"OH MY GOSH. THEY'RE REAL!" Katie touched her bias, named Calum Hood as he giggled.

"FUCK. YOU'RE ALL EVEN HOTTER UP CLOSE!" Lucy cussed.

"Hell yeah we are." Michael shouted which made us all laugh.

"So, the interview?'' I questioned.

"They're interviewing some boy band named Chicser," Calum rolled his eyes.

"What?! I hate that boy band." I rolled my eyes. It's true.

"They copied One Direction, The Vamps, and you." Lauren nodded.

"Oh, fuck them. No one can ever beat the originals." Michael smiled.

"True." I shrugged.
