Azalea's POV

"LETS GO AZALEA YOUR GONNA MAKE US LATE!!" My mother screamed through my closed door
"I'm coming I'm coming" I yell back. "Let's go Phill" I nod to my orange tabby cat he hoped off the little shelf and on to my shoulder. "Good bye room I won't miss ya" I giggled picking up my very large and over stuffed trunk. "We're going home" I sighed gathering the rest of my belongings. I stumbled down the stairs almost tripping over my things. Phil's nails dug into my shoulders I yelped.
"So graceful Azalea" my sister rose rolled her eyes.
"Is everyone ready?" Dad asked
"Yep!" Daisy my other little sister yells. we headed out packed the trunk with all of our stuff and took off driving into town.
"Pst." I smiled nudging Daisy
"Yeah" she whispered
"Are you excited?" I asked she nodded really fast
" We're gonna have to get you a companion like Phill." I say while scratching Phil behind his ear. She smiled reaching to pet Phil
" You don't want a Cat Daisy. Smelly, sneaky, evil things they are. Like others" Rose turns her glare to me I look at Phil
"You should get an owl, their graceful and wise. Everything you'll need as a first year Gryffindor"
" I'm a Gryffindor?!?!?" Daisy cheers
" You'll find out tonight love I'm sure you will be!" Mum says smiling
" Dear Merlin I hope so it was such a disappointment when-" rose starts
"That's enough Rose" dad cuts her off. I was the only Slytherin in my family my parents both pure blood Gryffindor, my grandparents Gryffindor, my great grandparents Gryffindor, even my sister Gryffindor my dad tries to hide his disappointment that I ended up Slytherin but even I know that they wished I turned out like them. My mum tried very little to hide her distaste for me and the sorting. If only that stupid hat sorted me into the same house as them.

*Flash back to Azalea's first year*

"A Murphy" the Sorting Hat grumbled
" Long line of Gryffindor. Your parents and their parents and their parents before them... But your ambitious and determined. Your very puzzling" the talking hat paused
The crowd stared at me in silence.
"SLYTHERIN!" The hat shouted breaking the silence the table seating the children who wore green and grey ties erupted with cheers and hollers. I was ushered to the long table where I was sat next to the other 1st year Slytherins. I was in shock what were my parents gonna think what were they gonna say?

*Back to present*

We were standing there waiting for for no one to be paying attention to what we were doing.
" Show her how it's done Azalea" dad nodded I looked at daisy with a smile then ran directly into the divider and there I was looking at my way home the Hogwarts Express. I stood there in awe Rose and mom appeared through not long after, mum primped and tucked rose's hair. Dad and daisy followed. Daisy seemed amazed by the size of the train
"alrighty start saying goodbyes" the conductor yells
"Good bye Rose write us every day we're going to miss you so much rack those points up for us sweet heart. We love you" Mum hugs Rose tight and long then dad hugged her as well before she stepped into the express. They turned their focus to Daisy, both getting down to Daisy's height, tearing up.
"Your going to do great. You better write us telling us about everything. We love you baby girl."

*Flash back to Azalea getting on Hogwarts express for the first time*

I held my breath as I ran into the wall. But instead of crashing into the solid brick I passed right through like air.
" You did so good Azalea!" Mummy cheered holding my face
"I was scared I was gonna hit the wall but but I didn't." I breathed
"I told you you wouldn't squirt" dad says patting my back
"Wrap it up 2 minutes" a very loud man yells"
"Your going to do big things princess, great big things we will miss you" dad smiles kneeling in front of me.
"We love you so so so much you we will write you every day so you know how your sisters are! Have fun! "

*Back to present*

"Azalea... Azalea" dad snaps his fingers bringing me out of memory lane.
"Yeah yeah sorry was spacing out " I stutter
"You gotta get on the train" mum mumbles. I nodded
"Bye guys" I pathetically half smiled
" We love you bug" dad says giving me a quick side hug.
Mum started walking the other way not even acknowledging me.
"I love you to dad." I stepped into the train and found daisy sitting in the hall.
"I don't know where to sit. Rose says her cabin is full" daisy shrugged looking at the ground.
" You can sit with me Daisy." I extended my hand. I helped her off the ground then we walked to find a cabin.
"Malfoy " I nod seeing Draco sitting by himself in a cabin
"Murphy" he barely looked from the window.
"How was holiday?" I asked trying to start conversations.
" Same as always."
" Ah I feel that"
"Who's the little twerp." He asks giving a side look at Daisy
" My little sister Daisy."
"Hi Daisy, I'm Malfoy Draco Malfoy" he shoots his hand out to shake her's. She looks at me hesitantly
"Go ahead he only looks like he could bite." I half smile she takes his hand And Shakes it.
"Murphy Daisy Murphy" she mocks him. I try my hardest not to laugh
"Which house do you think she's gonna be sorted into." He asks looking at me
" Hard to say. I've been thinking either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor" I shrug
" I really hope it's Gryffindor that way mummy and dad will be proud of me"
" They still haven't gotten over your sorting yet huh?" Draco asks
" I hear it every day." I shrugged
" Your sorting isn't your choice or fault" he looks at me extending his had to touch my knee.
"Don't go getting soft on me Malfoy." I laughed shoving his hand off my knee cap.
"Why would you want to be a Gryffindor. Their all self absorbed and rude" he asks daisy trying to get away from my rejection.
" My mum says all Slytherins are lying, evil snakes" daisy chirps like the innocent child she is not realizing that she's offending both him and I.
"Well you're mum is a bloody-"
"That's enough both of you I would like a peaceful train ride to my home thank you" I sigh cutting Draco off before he got disrespectful towards our mum. All of that can be said behind closed doors not around little Daisy. The rest of the ride was quite not much was said I did buy Daisy some candy from the cart a chocolate frog, jelly slugs and some everything flavour beans. She shared them with Draco I guess as a peace offering. The train came to a stop. I was finally home.
