Chapter 28

3RD PERSON POV

Tae and Jimin were hanging out at the park, it wasn't long after the incident with Bangchan and Jungkook. Kookie was more worried and overprotective of jimin now that he has met Bangchan so he didn't like him going out alone, to be honest he only allowed him to go because He was going with Tae. It's been a while since they hang out outside school premises anyway.

"Jimin? I feel like we cannot handle this boyfriend thingy. I'm with Hobi and you're with that asshole Jungkook, we both spend more time with then than together " Taetae said in a pout. Jimin nodded, he knew Tae was right.

"Yeah, we have been spending more time with them. I missed being with you. Okay let's make a pact. You and I are dedicating this week to ourselves. No jungkook, no Hobi" jimin said.

"Deal...but hobi and I still go to the same school though" Tae said still pouting.

"Yeah it's fine. You just won't see him after school" Jimin said smiling.

"Yeah...Hey, have you decided who you'll go to prom with? The days are getting close and I haven't heard you mention it, not even once" Tae asked.

"Aish Taehyung-ah. I'm not going to prom, you have Hobi to go with you. Jungkook wouldn't be allowed because he's not a student anymore. It's just prom anyway, it's not that important" jimin said dismissively rolling his eyes earning himself a small smack from Tae.

"Not that important? Jimin you're leaving this school after prom, you'll be stepping out into the new and adult world...come on you have to go to prom please" Tae begged making a cute face which he knows is always hard for Jimin to resist.

" aish Tae what do you want me to do? Find someone from school to go to prom with me?" Jimin asked confused.

"Exactly, I was gonna go with you but then hobi asked me first and I said yes" Tae explains.

"It's cool Taehyung-ah, He is your boyfriend anyway so you should go with him. I don't think I'll go though" jimin said pouting looking helpless. Tae looked at his friend. Isn't there another way he can go, he wants to be with him on his prom night.

Jimin looked around and spotted two male figures headed towards him and Tae, as they got closer he saw that it was Hobi and Yoongi...yeah, Yoongi.

"Tae here comes Yoongi, I'm just gonna go before they get here" Jimin said trying to get off the swing but Tae held him.

"Jiminah sit down, how long are you gonna run from him? You forgave him right?" Tae asked.

"Yeah I did forgive him...doesn't mean I should hang with him though." Jimin tried to reason with Tae.

"Jimin sit your ass down. Yoongi won't bite. If he tries then I'll kill him" Tae said in a serious tone making Jimin laugh.

"You and jungkook are just the same, I don't know why you don't like each other" jimin said laughing.

"That dick replaced me so I hate him for that. But maybe if we were to chill for an hour or so I'd see what you like in him. Maybe he's not entirely that bad" Tae said.

"He's a good guy, you should see his friends. Namjoon hyun and Jin hyung, they are so cool and funny. I see them almost everytime when I'm spending time with Jungkook at his place" jimin said cheerfully.

"Are you trying to get me to like some strangers by complimenting them?" Tae asked making a disgusted face.

"Don't look at me like That. You're gonna meet them soon. I know you'll get along with them just fine" Jimin said smiling.

Hobi and Yoongi finally arrived to the two boys sitting on the swings.

"Look who decided to see each other today" hobi said in a teasing manner.

"Hobi stop, you also haven't spent much time with yoongi cause you're always with me" Tae said rolling his eyes.

"Hey Jimin, you're glowing" Hobi said patting Jimins hair making Jimin pout and Tae laugh.

"Hobi hyung stop it, you always treat me like a kid." Jimin said pushing Hobi's hand away from his beautifully combed hair. Jimin looked up and his eyes met Yoongis eyes which were looking directly at him, Jimin had forgiven Yoongi...after all those countless apologies at school and through the phone. Jimin is not heartless, he forgave Yoongi.

"Hey Jimin" Yoongi said awkwardly trying to avoid eye contact with Jimin.

"Hi Yoongi" Jimin said looking at Yoongi in the eyes not seeing anything wrong with it...of course there was nothing wrong with it but All the eye contact is making Yoongi feel things...it's not like he ever moved on or got over Jimin anyway. But Jimin is over him and he has a boyfriend so he can't do anything.

"Awkward " Tae said rolling his eyes making Jimin smack his arm.

"So what were you two talkin about huh?" Hobi asked as he slowly started pushing Tae playfully with the swing.

"Nothing much...I was telling Jimin to get a date for prom. But he insisted on not attending, like is this bitch for real babe? It's his final school year" Tae said scoffing.

"Tae what the fuck! Talking like I'm not even right next to you. Besides, I don't have to attend prom of I don't want to" Jimin said rolling his eyes.

"If you don't have a date then why don't you ask Yoongi to take you to prom?" Hobi asked shrugging...Jimin widened his eyes and looked at Hobi, like is he serious right now? Why would Jimin ask his ex to be his date for prom?

"What?...uh well, Yoongi is...he doesn't like crowds and I...I don't want to go to prom really" Jimin said then bit his tongue for stuttering so much.

"Yeah I don't like crowded spaces..." yoongi said and Jimin cut him off.

"Yeah...see? so it's a bad idea" jimin said

"...But I'd love to go to prom with you" Yoongi said. Jimin stayed frozen looking at Yoongi...he wanted to go to prom with him?...is that appropriate though? Like...they have history and it's not all that good.

"See...Jimin come on, go with Yoongi please. It won't be the same without you. I can't enjoy without my soul mate next to me" Tae said pouting and giving Jimin puppy eyes.

"But Tae...I don't know...I mean, I wasn't even gonna go and I..." jimin got cut off.

"Jimin? Can you please go to prom with me?" That was Yoongi asking...OMO he is serious about this. His eyes carried a lot of desperation and hope, he hoped jimin would say yes.

"I...I don't know Yoongi" Jimin said biting his lip unsure of what to say.

"Jimin come on, if you're scared that Jungkook will flip then I'll talk to him for you." Tae said pleading.

"I can handle Jungkook" Jimin said rolling his eyes at Tae.

"Okay then I'll stop call him an asshole, and I'll be cool with him...I'll also meet his friends as well. The ones you said I should meet" Tae said desperately pleading.

"What friends?" Hobi asked, his voice showing a bit of jealousy.

"Hobi chill out...the "friends" are a couple, no one will hit on Tae" jimin said rolling his eyes and exchanged looks with Hobi....it's their everyday thing...two sassy guys always exchanging looks even though they get along quite well.

"So what do you say? You'll go with Yoongi?" Hobi asked.

"Uh..." jimin thought

"Please?" Yoongi said looking at Jimin with soft eyes....Ahhhhhhh, jimin screamed internally.

"Yeah...sure, I guess I can go with you" jimin agreed...it wouldn't be that bad right?

"Thank you...and for saying yes, I'll repay you by pushing your swing" Yoongi said standing behind jimin and playfully pushing jimin just like iobi was doing with Tae...it kinda looked like a double date but it's not.

"Jimin and I
Going to prom
In beautiful clothes
With handsome dates
We're friendship goals"

Tae said singing in a nursery rhythm making the three guys to laugh at him. He seems to be the most excited about prom overall...who wouldn't be? They're leaving school now.
