Chapter 48

Jimin's POV

I was back home now. After whining to jungkook that I need to come back home and help Vero with something he finally let me go, of course it was a lie that I had to help with something but I spent much more time than anticipated  with him. And he promised that this week ours, he'll do everything with me since I'm leaving soon. I don't wanna leave though.

There was knock on the door and before I shouted come in, Tae had already walked in with so much force.

"Taehyung " I said looking at him.

"What's up sucker?" He said throwing himself on the couch. I was siting in the lounge watching TV by the way.

"I didn't tell you to come in" I said chuckling and shaking my head.

"I know. This is just home as well, as much as you do as you please when you're at my home, I also do as I please" Tae said kissing my forehead.

"So...updates about Jungkook" Tae said placing his hands on his cheeks and looking at me all focused.

"Now Jungkook is a different story Tae. You wouldn't believe he...." I continued Telling Taehyung everything. He already knew it all but I just didn't get much jnto details.

I summed everything up for him and he looked at me with his jaw dropped. He was very shocked to say the least.

"Oh my God Jimin. You're strong for being able to even confront him about this" Taehyung said.

"Well I couldn't just accuse him without making sure he's the one who did it" I said.

"So you really think your mom is trying to get between you guys?" Tae asked.

"Well what other explanation is there to it? He literally told jungkook on the phone to break up with me and date her." I said sighing.

"What a mother you have? No wonder I didn't like her the first time I saw her. She gave off a dark and annoying aura" Taehyung says. Of course mom always had a dark aura, only when she's mad though. Mostly she'd give me games and tell me to stay up in my room. Like she never wanted to spend time with me.

"I guess she's just pure evil" I said sighing, how did I end up with a mother like her.

At the moment when Tae was about to say something. There was a knock on the door.

"Come in" I shouted. I continued watching TV not paying attention to the door.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I heard Tae ask with so much rage so I turned my head to see who he was talking to.

Jihyun...

"Jimin, Hi" jihyun said looking at me. His hair was messy and he looked like he was running.

"I know I'm the last person you wanna see right now especially after that whole thing I did. I'm really sorry for that. I didn't wanna run away Jimin But..." I cut him off standing up

"But your coward ass did run away. Hyung you're my brother. Even if I lost my memory for 5 full months, I was still gonna forgive you because it was only just a mistake." I said glaring at him. I hated his presence here. How could he do that to me and then run away?.

"I'm sorry Jimin. I didn't wanna run. Mom kept me updated on your situation and how good you're doing, but I wanted to be here. She just didn't want me to. She had me staying with some old man I don't know just to prevent me from coming here." Jihyun said.

Tae and I looked at each other and we both focused on jihyun once again. Seems like everything involving my mom is never good.

"Sit down" I said

Jihyun took a sit on the couch and looked at me.

"How are you feeling?" He asked looking at where I got hurt. It was almost almost invisible anyway so he couldn't see.

"I'm fine jihyun, can you please get to the part about mom?" I asked.

"Oh yeah...she uhm,she said something about getting back to her rich women status using Dad and Jungkook. Well from what I heard from her, the original plan was to seduce dad and sleep with him. Then after blackmail him into giving her money. But I think she failed" jihyun said

"Oh trust me she didn't fail at all" I said sarcastically.

"Continue" I said.

"Well then she changed her plan, she used to talk to the man who was watching me. Told him that she'll try to seduce your boyfr...jungkook. she wanted to sleep with jungkook then blackmail him for money. I'm not really sure if she accomplished that mission or not" jihyun said.

"Well fortunately it didn't get there. She was so close to doing it though" I said.

"Y'alls mom is something else. I don't get how she could be so evil while she has you two as her sons. I mean Y'all aren't exactly angels but you're both sweet and kind hearted " Tae said sadly.

"Correction, I am an angel, but Jihyun is not" I said smiling a bit. Tae laughed while Jihyun just chuckled.

"Well you looked like you escaped from wherever you're from. Hold on I'll be right back" I said. I rushed to my room and took my wallet, grabbing a credit card in there and rushing back down to them.

"Here, I've been saving the money here. Book a hotel, stay there for a week or something. Make sure mom doesn't find out you're back. I know she won't be too thrilled about that one. I'll deal with her myself." I said giving Jihyun the credit card.

"Deal with her yourself. Jimin I don't think you understand. That women is crazy now. I don't think anyone can stop her, she wants what she wants" jihyun said.

"I'm not losing to her. Even if she has to end up in jail, I'll be the one to put her behind bars." I said.

"But Jimin, you can't deal with her alone" jihyun said his face written concern and worry all over.

"I have Tae, Jungkook, Vero, Dad, Jin and he's a police officer, Yoongi and Hobi, and Namjoon hyung. I have you too Jihyun" I said. Knowing exactly well that the people I mentioned really do have my back on everything.

Jihyun smiled a bit at the mention of his
Name. I smiled back and both if us hugged. I really had missed him, mom making him stay away from me hurt me. I thought maybe he was living it large somewhere happy, even forgot about me. But it was all mom. Now it was time to put an end to this

"I think it's better if you leave right now, before she comes back and finds you here" I said to jihyun. He broke the hug and looked at me.

"Be careful okay, you too Taehyung. I'll call and talk to you" jihyun said.

"Okay, be safe. Bye" I said waving at him

"Bye" he said opening the door and leaving.

I looked at Tae who looked kind of freaked out.

"Okay Taehyung, call my search team" I said looking at him.

"You don't have a search team" Taehyung said rolling eyes at me. I slapped him on his arm playfully and he laughed.

"I know I don't have a search team but let me have my moment. I've always wanted to be a police officer " I said.

"Well yes detective. I'll get the search team ready for you" Taehyung said laughing as he started calling the guys. Of course he started with Hobi, because who else would he call first other than Hobi .

It's really time we all put mom's shenanigans to an end. She is really breaking this family apart and it's not even funny. I don't care what happens but what I know is...I want her far away from my family and friends.
