Sorry for the long wait I have a new job so I'm working overnights 5/7 days. So this is the beginning of the ceremony!! Can't wait for some of you guys to see what the results are!!!!
No One's POV:
The sun rose over the valley of Vaes Dothrak all to soon. Children were running in between the homes, their energy full after a long nights rest. Adults went about their lives in peace, going to the market for food for their families or to visit with friends. The Dosh Khaleen got things ready for the new brides ceremony that evening. The excitement between them radiate off of them.
Khal Drogo is the first to wake between him and his bride.
Khal Drogo POV:
I wake to the sun beating on our tent. The laughter from the children is heard all around us outside. I smile and look at my glowing bride pregnant with my child. I raise my hand and caress her stomach that houses them for the time being. I grin when I feel a hard kick to my hand from our child. I lean over her body to hear them and to speak with them.
"You are strong my child. Soon you shall leave your mother's body and join us out in the world. I can not wait to hold you in my arms, teach you your first weapon, and teach you how to ride a horse. Your mother is beautiful and kind. She will teach you how to treat any wounds you may end up having, how to get a woman to be yours, and maybe help you with your weapon when you are older. This world is a cruel place my child. People would sooner kill another for food than share. Your mother and I will protect you from harm until you do not need us to any longer. We will always love you no matter what you could do. If you are a girl then know we will probably be overbearing to you, as we only want the best for you. You will still learn all the things a male does. If a male ever harms you just know that you can come to me and still your mother and I will love you. I might end up harming the male that hurt you."
"Sun and Stars you will be an amazing father and I can not wait for them to be here with us. I love you." My Moon tells me as tears stream down her cheeks from hearing my pledge to our unborn child.
"I did not think you were awake Moon of My Life. There is no need to cry. I can not wait for you to birth them for me. You will be an amazing mother to them. You already are not afraid to command me to stay in one place for the health of yourself and our child." I tell her as I wipe her tears away and hold her as she gets her emotions in order again.
"We must get up My Sun and Stars. We must get ready for the ceremony tonight. I can not wait to find out what our child is and how many we are having." She wiggles out of my arms and starts pattering around the tent trying to get ready for tonight. I watch her and admire her. The swell of her stomach that houses our child, the swinging of her breasts that have already begun to make the milk to nourish them, the slight sheen of her sweat as she is getting over heated from the furs in the night. She takes my breath away.
She looks at me and blushes as she sees how I am watching her. I conceal nothing from her as I get up and walk to her. Soon enough I am right in front of her before I dip down and kiss her hard on the lips conveying all my emotions that I can not say aloud to her. I release her before bending down to press a kid to her stomach before I dress and leave our tent to make sure our preparations will be done before tonight.
Hekate POV:
Drogo leaves the tent and I am still stunned from his actions. My fingers drift over my lips as I can still feel his on mine. Shaking my head I continue to try to find the right outfit for tonight as I wish to be decently presentable for this ceremony. I end up deciding on a wrap short skirt that falls to my knees and a top that only really holds my swelling breasts in place. Leaving my stomach out for all to see. I can only hope that Drogo likes it.
I end up sitting around the tent sewing to try to waste time before the ceremony to try and calm what little nerves I have about it. But all too soon my handmaid's are entering the tent to take me to the ceremony site. The walk is long and many Dothraki are out and staring at me.
I know that they have heard of Khal Drogo's foreign wife but I doubt they knew I was pregnant. The women look excited for a khals child to be born and the men looked almost hesitant about me being here as I am foreign to them.
"Khaleesi, we are almost there. Look it's just over there on the hill" Doreah says to me pointing to the site that will tell me about my child.
"Let's try to hurry. We don't want the Dosh Khaleen or Drogo to worry about me." I say and start to pick up my pace just a little bit.
Once I am at that hill everything is going to change. Hopefully for the better but something in my gut is almost screaming at me that it won't be without some heartache........
