The truth

We were all walked towards the front door of the house.My dad answered with hope and tears in his eyes."Hey dad.Look who I found"I said as I stepped back and my mom stepped forward.They hugged and kissed never letting each go"Who are your friends?'My dad asks while he cries of joy"This is Ethan,Quinn,A and you already know Greg"I say as my dad walks up to Greg"Ah yes Greg.Thank you for bringing back my family to me"My dad says patting a hand on his shoulder"Um dad I was actually thinking that we could help my friends out"I say as my dad walks back to my mom"Of course.What do we need to do?"
"Well Ethan needs some equipment,especially weapons.Quinn needs to find her dad.Greg wants to be free.And A...I don't know what A wants.What do you want A?"I ask"I wanna try to find my family"
"Well I'll do my best to give you what you want.Follow me to my lab"My dad says as we all walk inside the house.

"While you were gone I made a portal to try and teleport myself to help you.I had barely finished it when you all got here.We can use this portal to transport you all to a place that can help you with your needs"My dad says as we all look at a round metal thing on the floor,while a colorful lights and liquids are in the middle"But you never tested so how do you know it works?"Greg asks as my dad scoffs"I'm the scientist.Your just an experiment"
"That was uncalled for dad"I say clenching my teeth as my dad sighs"I guess your right.I just feel stressed,I'm sorry Greg"
"it's ok.If it makes you feel any better I'll go through the portal first after I say my goodbyes"Greg says as my dad nods.

Greg looks over too me and smiles"I'm going to miss you"He says as he hugs me"Me too"I say as I hug him back tighter"Be safe ok?"I said as my eyes got watery"I will.You better do the same"Greg says and I chuckle"I will"I say as I sniffle"Are you crying?"Greg asks as he breaks the long hug"No"I laugh as tears run down my cheeks"obviously not"Greg laughs"You better say bye to others"I say"Are just saying that so I won't see you cry?"Greg asks"Just go"I say as Greg walks over Ethan.Then he walks over to Quinn.Then A.Then my mom.Then my dad,even if it was a small conversation.He finally walks at the edge of the portal and jumps in.He was gone.

Ethan walks over to me"Can I speak to you privately?"
"Uh sure"I say as we walk into the kitchen."What's up?"I ask"I have to tell you something before I leave"Ethan says"Ok,go ahead"
"Well...I...I...I have a crush on you like I like you but like you don't have to like me back or anything I just wanted to tell you because I like you so much I have to get it off my chest and tell you"Ethan says quickly"Oh...Well...I like you...but not in a crush way...but thanks for being honest with me"I say as Ethan makes a weak smile"Oh that's ok.I hope we can still be...friends"
"Of course.Now let's go back to the lab to get you in that portal"I say as we both walk back to the lab.

We get back to the lab and Ethan walks to the edge of the portal and before he jumps in he says his goodbyes to Quinn and A.I stand next to Quinn who whispers"What did he wanted to talk about?"
"Oh...well he kinda told me he liked me but I said I didn't feel the same"I said quietly"Oh well then I have to tell you something too.I also like you"Quinn says,loudly this time"I'm really sorry but I don't like you.I like someone else"I say as Quinn looks over at A"It's not A if that's what your thinking"I say"Oh ok.Well I better go"Quinn says as she walks over to A,my mom,and my dad to say her goodbyes.She then walks and jumps into the portal.

"Although we haven't spend much time together nor spoken that much I will miss you"A says as I nod in a agreement."Thank you for being there for me"A says as they hug my mom"I should be thanking you.You helped me and my family out.I will miss you greatly.Please Be safe out there"My mom says as she hugs them for one last time and A walks over to the edge"Bye sir"A says towards my dad as they jump in and disappear.

"Ok number 2,467 you have failed your test.Number 100 and number 200 will bring you to the exit"
"Dad what are talking about?'I ask
"Number 50 and Number 250 please take RR to the Christmas scene"
"Dad what's happening"I say as two robots take away my mom's stiff body"What are doing with mom?"I say as I try and walk over to her"Number 100 and Number 200 I asked to take number 2,467"Robots grab my arms and pull me away"DAD HELP ME!"I scream"Please take down the simulation of the lab scene"Dad says as the lab and the house suddenly disappear.I now see that I'm in a dome that is all white.Tears from my eyes fall like rain.The robots place me on a travelator and make me face the wall.I exit out the dome and look behind me,the outside of the dome is a shiny sliver disco ball.I look in the front of me and see a large cubed furnace.I knew what was going to happen and I tried to pick up my feet but I couldn't.The travelator seemed like some sort of magnet and I was stuck too it.I thought of how when I used my powers I brought up memories that made me emotional.And so when I tried to walk again I thought of all the hard work I and my friends went through.I thought of how I'm never going to see my mom or my friends or Rebecca.I'm never going to tell her how pretty Rebecca is.I'm never going to tell her how much she means too me.One of my legs stepped off the travelator and onto the ground.The travelator stopped and alarms went off inside of the dome.I quickly thought of memories of me and rebecca.Wheneved I used to make her laugh with my saracaatic jokes.Whenever she made me smile and be more outgoing.Whenever we had the best time together even when we both weren't talking.I'm never experience that again.I pulled my other leg off and started to cry even more than before.the same robots from before came walking out the dome.I looked over to my left and saw a little cabin and a city skyline In the distance.I stood up and I ran.I ran and ran and ran until I got to the cabin.

Although it took me a long time to get to the cabin,I was finally here on the porch.The cabin looked like Ethan's house.I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it but nobody did.I knocked again.No answer.I knocked one last time and I see Ethan.He looked tall and much older than the last time I saw him"Ava?"He said surprised"What are doing here?"He asked"Well...I...um...I don't know"I said
"Come in"I walked in and he closed door behind me"What's happening?Where am I?What am I?"I asked sitting down on the couch"Calm down"He says sitting next to me"You are robot that was in a simulation test to see whether or not if you worthy to be a robot solider and somehow you've escaped"
"How do you know all this?"
"They built the dome here on Ateran because of what happened to this planet.And since they wanted the simulation to be real as possible they hired me to act.But after awhile,us actors couldn't handle the death or reprogrammed robots that seemed so real to us so we all quit"
"No,it can't be"
"It's going to be ok"
"No it's not.I need help"
"With what?"
"Do you know how to get to earth?"
"Yeah,you use the portal"
"So the portal is real?"
"Well yeah that's how they transported us from.spot to the other"
"Well,can you help me then?"
"Sure"
"Before we go anywhere do you have transportation to get us to the dome?"
"Of course.I found a motorcycle in the mall and fixed it up"
"If your ready let's go then"
"I'm always ready"He says as we walk out towards the motorcycle.I hop on behind Ethan"Hold on"He says as the motorcycle takes off and I hold on tightly to him.

We get closer and closer to the disco ball"Close your eyes and duck"Ethan demands"Why?"I ask"Just do it"he says yelling"Ok"I say scared.I close my eyes and duck.I hear glass shattered and another alarm go off and feel the pieces of glass fly past me.I open my eyes and see we are in the disco"Look the portal is over there.When you get to the portal just think about a place,something,or someone you want to see or meet and jump in"Ethan says pointing to the same portal I saw before"Thanks Ethan"I say as I hop off the motorcycle"No problem"He says as I run towards the portal.Before I can reach the edge a robot grabs me but before I can do anything a gun goes off.the robot's grip let go of me"I told you I'm always ready"He says as I smile.More robots start to come and I walk to the edge"Bye Ethan"I say"See you later,Ava"He says as I jump in the portal.
