Chapter 7

**MGK'S P.O.V.**
I rolled over in the bed and felt someone shake me.
Cassie: Daddy wake up!
Me: I'm up.
Cassie: Happy birthday. Who is that lady, daddy?
Me: Thank you pumpkin. When she gets up I'll let you meet her. Did your grandparents drop you off?
Cassie: Yes.
Mahogany: Good morning birthday boy.
Me: Morning. This is my daughter, Cassie. And Cassie this is Mahogany.
Mahogany: Nice to meet you Cassie. You daddy told me so many good things about you.
Cassie: Daddy I like her she's pretty.
Mahogany blushed. We got up and made our way to the kitchen.
Mahogany: Cassie since it's your daddy's birthday do you want to help me make my family's special birthday breakfast. If it's okay with your dad.
Cassie: Please?
Me: Go ahead. I'll just sit here if you need me.
I sat at the counter and watched Mahogany and Cassie cook. Cassie looked like she was having a lot of fun.
Me: So what is this special birthday breakfast?
Mahogany: Banana, blueberry pancakes and crapes. Eggs. Bacon. And if you have oranges, fresh squeezed orange juice.
Me: The oranges are in the fridge. Is it almost done because I'm starving.
Mahogany: Just give me a minute to make to orange juice and then I'm done.
As she finished Rook, Ian, and Mickey came in the kitchen after smelling the food.
Mahogany: You boys look hungry and you came at the right time.
She set out a stack of plates on the table, then brought over the plates of food and pitchers of drinks. We all sat at the table and the meal.
Me: Mahogany I haven't had a good breakfast like this in a while.
Cassie and the guys agreed with me. Mahogany blushed and thanked us. After breakfast Mahogany was getting her brother and Ian ready to leave.
Me: Hey Mahogany I was wondering if you wanted to hangout with me and Cassie later?
Mahogany: Yeah sure. Can I just come back in like 30 minutes or so.
Me: No problem. We'll see you then.
They left and it was just my baby girl and I. We went to the living room, I sat on the couch to watch t.v. and Cassie colored in her coloring book.
Cassie: Daddy is she your girlfriend?
Me: No she's not baby girl.
Cassie: Well she should be.
Me: Really. Why?
Cassie: She's pretty, nice, and I really like her cooking.
The doorbell rang. I got up to answer it and it was Mahogany. Cassie jumped up and ran to hug her.
Mahogany: So what are we going to do today?
Me: We can go catch a movie and then bowling.
Cassie's face lit up with excitement and insisted we do that. I drove us to the local movie theater and decided to watch an animated comedy. I forgot the name of it. After the movie we went to the bowling alley across the street from the movie theaters.
Me: You got it.
Mahogany: Yeah I'm fine it's not that heavy.
She picked up the ball with he one hand and proved that she can handle it. When we were done bowling we ate pizza and played in the arcade. On the way home Mahogany thought it would be a great idea to get ice cream and of course my baby girl shouted with agreement. It was late when we got back. Cassie ran to the house and I walked Mahogany to her car.
Mahogany: I had fun tonight. And Cassie is just the most adorable thing ever.
Me: She gets her charm from me and I did too. So I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date Friday?
Mahogany: Uh that sounds great. I'll see you then.
Me: See you then.
She kissed me then drove off. I turned around to see Cassie and Rook smiling at me in the doorway.
