23- the great escape

Raffe's P.O.V

I dove into the water after receiving that mind message. I saw her looking up before her eyes closed. fuck, no no no.

I grabbed her feet and cut the rope loose then her hands. I pulled her up and out of the water. She was so cold.
She was only under the water for a few minuets but... she.....

I leaned over her and did mouth to mouth, until a ton of water came rushing out of her mouth onto the grass below her.

She sat up and started to cough.

"I can't let this happen!" The witch yelled. with her magic she grabbed me and threw me into a tree. that was when Nina got onto her feet..... well her four feet. umm. yer.
She ran at the witch and tackled her to the ground. I saw the dust and dirt fly up. but then Nina collapsed with a knife in her leg/ arm? I don't know.

Nina doved back and shifted back into her human. The knife was in her right wrist.
She ripped it out and her fangs flared out of her gums with a hiss. I heard Brent running in our direction. he wasn't here yet? How was he not here yet?
Nina shifted to her wolf again and ripped the witches left arm out of it's socket.
Blood went everywhere and the witch started screaming. she jumped onto Nina and started stabbing her in the side.
I was unable to move. how is it i couldn't move.
Brent came launching out of the woods and ripped the witch off of Nina.
She howled and took the opportunity and rip the witches head off.
Just before she was able to the witch stabbed Brent and just as she had passed into her next life, stabbed Nina in the throat.

Nina's P.O.V.

I shifted back into my human form. walking backwards from the dead witch. I couldn't breath. it's weird to think a demon worried about drowning and not being able to breath.
I ripped the knife out of my throat and stabbed my wrist. I walked behind Brent and forced my wrist in his mouth. he coughed and pushed me away. I stumbled back and walked into the forest.

"I'm sick of this.." I whispered. my neck and chest where covered in blood. the red shirt I was wearing and the jeans were surprisingly not ripped. Must be wolf proof.
I walked through the forest. the smell of wide open space mixed with the smell of fresh blood.
The world is doomed. if this war happens. the world will go to ruin. the vampires will rule and humans will be defenseless.
I guess I em weak. I guess I do care too much. I'm a demon. I do not cower. I em the thing kids fear at night. I em the thing adults are scared of becoming. and I cower....
Why!?
Some how I ended up at my parents grave. they would be so disappointed. I killed them... and now look at me. I'm slowly killing myself.
I fell to my knees in between there graves and just... Just sat there. I just sat there and thought about life.
Why me? Why did it have to be me?
Why did I come here?
Time had passed and the sun started to go down.
A hand landed on my shoulder. I didn't flinch. nor did I move at all to see the person that was there.

Nathan's P.O.V

I stud there. just behind Nina. she wasn't moving but she was slowly breathing. I put my hand on her shoulder. hoping she would get up and walk away. but she didn't. She didn't move nor did she flinch.

"Nina..." I said quietly. in almost a whisper.
She turned to look at me. a tear ran down her cheek.
"Not her..." she whispered. "not her..." a few more tears came out of her eye.

-- flash back --
Nina and I were walking around town. We did this a few nights a week.
'She looks so... beautiful..' I thought to myself.
We were about to walk passed the park when there was a man in a black coat standing on the path. facing us.
I grabbed Nina's hand. she was so warm. focus! I pulled her across the road. she had to jog to keep up.

"Not her... Not her... Not her..." I muttered under my breath.
"NATHAN! Stop your hurting me!"

"Nina.. I can-" she put her hand up and I stopped talking.

"No Nathan! why not me!? What really happened that night!" I yelled at him. tears streaming down my face.

"As you know.... I'm a vampire. my ancestors where vampires but it skipped my mums kids. when I was killed by a vampire I turned into a vampire." I said quietly.

"And your point is....." She said.

"Because I'm from vampire ancestors. hell took the liberty to contact my mum telling her.... the 6 is to be killed. and her soul to be transferred to hell. but..... because.. because I'm." he paused for a few seconds. Nina raised one of her eye brows. damn she looks beautiful.
"I'm in love with you. I didn't wanna let you go. when you died I let myself die too."
She took a few steps back and turned away from me.
she didn't speak.
"Did you love me.."

She stopped in her tracks and turned to me with a black expression. the tears were still coming out of her eyes but her face was dull.

"I don't believe in love... never have never will."

Nina's P.O.V

"I don't believe in love... never have never will." I turned my back on Nathan once again.
"Good bye Nathan." I walked into the forest and as I did I heard Nathan yell back.
"Please don't go!" I kept walking. I didn't look back. not even for a second.
"Nina..." I heard him whisper.

Don't.
Don't look back.
Not even for a second.

I walked for a good 5-10 minuets before stopping at a massive tree.
I threw a little ball at the tree and a portal opened to heaven.
My wings came out and my face changed. I walked onto the white flooring. into a white hallway. I walked down the hallway. the portal closing after I entered.
I walked into a massive.... white and gold room.
Angels where walking around talking. the room was filled with noise. as angels walked passed me with gold, fluro blue, fluro pink, white wings.

Everyone stopped the chatter as I walked in the room. everyone was silent. all the angels moved out of my way as I made my way to the door on the other side.
Messengers. these must been the messenger angels. a little chatter started as I made my way through.

I opened the door to see a blinding light.
"Hey!!" Someone yelled to my right.
A guard started running in my direction. I kept walking as I was. the guard went to tackle me but I moved out of the way tripped him over.

"Tell me where the head master is." I said calmly.
"And why should I tell you that!" The guard yells as he gets to his feet.

"Because the weapon has arrived. that's why." I said calmly. he looked startled and he took a step back.
"You're... you're... silence?" He says quietly. all I do it nod.
He gestured for me to follow him. He walked over to the edge of the cliff and points to a massive building. a palace maybe.
"Down there." he says and flies off.
I float down to the palace and walk through the doors.
The big guy with the long golden hair put his hand up to stop me from walking. I kept walking and as I got a meter away from him and stop.

"Bow down." he said to me.
I stud there and smiled.
"I don't bow down for no one boy."

He looked at me in a stun.
"What are you doing here, demon." His voice crocked and he sort of hissed the last word.

I smiled a full blown moon. "I do believe I was invited."

Raffe's P.O.V

I entered the messenger block. angels were shaken up and stunned. what the?
I ran to the other side of the room and through the door.
I flue down to the head masters quarters.
Bolting through the doors. "sir!" I yelled.
I saw a girl. black long hair. white skin. fluro blue wings and the bottom half a blood red colour.
I stopped in my tracks. "silence..." I whispered.
She turned around. only for me to see pure black eyes and a golden orange iris. black cuts down her cheeks, and fangs on the top and bottom row of her teeth.
"Yes?" She smiled.
