16- the great fight for life and death

Nina's P.O.V

I was in the ocean coved in ice.

I was freezing. my body froze over and I was unable to swim anymore. All my musicals buckled as I started to sink under the ice. Ice formed over the surface of the water so no sun light was piercing the dark waters.
I tried to swim up but it was no use. it was like an anchor was attached to my foot, weighing me down.

Brent's P.O.V

I woke up.... I remember everything from walking in the woods to someone ambushed me and stabbing me with wolfs vain. luckily my friends were near by and helped me. I sat up and realized there was a girl laying unconscious next to me. What the?
Her face was flawless. she was so beautiful.

She had light brown hair. long light brown hair. I wonder what her name was. I looked at her jaw line. coved in frost. the frost grew up her jaw line over her face.
I saw the frost on her arms going down to her hands. her jeans coved the skin on her legs but frost was covering over her jeans and there was ice in her stomach. in the middle of her stomach just below her upper chest.

What has happened to you?
The ice went out around her chest and turned into frost just as it hit her skin. around her neck and shoulders.

I saw movement at the door frame of my room. looking over at the door there was Tia and Collin. both had shocked faces. what's going on?

I looked passed then and saw Byron laying there just outside the door.
I got up and started to yell.
"What's going on!? Who is she!? Why is she here!!??"
Tia looked as if she was going to cry.....

Collins P.O.V

Tia was screaming, Nina was kneeling on the floor, leaning over with her hands on her ears. Byron was lying on the floor unconscious. what's going on??! I saw Brent standing in the door way looking at the wall with a stone expression. what's happening?!
I rushed over to Nina who had tears streaming from her eyes. I went in front of her face seeing what was happening. nothing... she looked passed me to Brent and pushed me out of the way.

I got up and turned to see Nina's wrist in Brent's mouth. she removed her wrist. blood fell down Brent's chin. his eyes lifeless. Tia came up and stud with me in the door way. what's she doing to Brent?!

She dropped him to the ground and kneeled next to him. Before she did anything else she looked at us standing in the door way but then looked back to Brent. She placed her thumbs over his temples and looked deep into his lifeless eyes....

"Forget..... forget...."

Was all she said to him before sitting up only to fall back wards onto her back unconscious.

Brent's eyes was filled with life. He sat up immediately. looking down at Nina. his eyes filled with confusion and anger.
He looked at us and started yelling.

"What's going on!? Who is she!? Why is she here!!??" He was furious.

Wait he can't remember her.... what happened? She was completely coved in frost or ice. She was so cold the floor around her started to freeze.

"She......" I couldn't say anything.

"She saved your life, Brent. if it wasn't for her you would have died..... a few times actually." Tia interrupted. I looked at her and she smiled at me.

Brent looked so confused. he looked at her. a tear rolled down his cheek.
"Why would she do that? I don't even know her......" he said.

He touched her hand and as soon as he did he jolted back.

Brent's P.O.V

I looked at her. why would she save my life? It was to confusing. I don't even know her....
I brought my hand down to hers. just as I touched her hand a bit of ice came melted off instantly....
I could see her... She was being weighed down under the icy water from a massive peace of ice attached to her foot.

I jolted back. what felt like minuets was only about a second. she was drowning from the ice. I need to help her....
I need to return the favor.

Nina's P.O.V

I was unable to breath. I looked down and all I saw was darkness. great not only em i gonna die alone but I'm not sure how Brent is doing.... don't get me wrong. I like Brent. But.....

I was slowing down. what the. it was like I was being jerked back up by something. what the fuck!?

Brent's P.O.V

I started to touch her hands. the frost and ice started to flake away. I saw in her head the ice on her foot. weighing her down started to crack. she began to kick the ice on her foot till it completely came off.
She tried to swim up. I let go of her hands and touched her face. she was so cold.

She was just at the surface of the water when something grabbed her foot. what's going on? It was a massive tentacle made out of ice. it pulled her under the water again. I can't....

I pulled away from her. Collin and Tia were now by my side.

Tia's P.O.V

Collin and I were kneeling down next to Brent. He didn't remember her. she must have erased too much. or maybe not enough.
I touched her hands to help warm her skin. but the ice attached itself to me. what's going on. it made it's way up my arm. It was growing. I squealed and looked at Collin. he made his way around Brent to me side. his hands collapsed into mine and the frost started to melt off.

Thank god.

"What's her name?" I heard Brent whisper.
Collin put his hand on Brent's shoulder and said "you don't remember?"

Brent looked at Collin and said. "No. all I remember is being in the woods then being ambushed and stabbed with needles containing wolfs vain. I don't know who she is? what she is doing here? And why she's covered in ice and frost? but you said she saved my life. how? When? I've never seen her before."

Brent was angry. I've never seen him this confused. Nina had erased all his memory about her. so it's like they never met...
