25- a worm

Cody's P.O.V

Silence came out of the portal. she looked ready to collapse. she looked exhausted and beaten.

She walked towards the exit of the forest and looked at the little house visible through the trees.
Just as I went to walk up to her a man walked up behind her with two needles of something purple and something brown.
The man grinned at he stabbed her in the back and after a few seconds of stumbling she fell forward. her eyes connected with mine just before they closed.
What have I done? I should have stopped the man... but I didn't. I let him take her to the house. I let her go.

Brent's P.O.V

I sat on the lounge. Thinking.
raffe came into view in the corner of my eye.
"Where is she?" My voice hard with anger. she left us there to get rid of the witches body and now she won't show her face.
"She was last seen on the oval of the vampire school. a 3 hour drive away from here. Brent I think we should just wai-" before raffe could finish I got up and spoke over him.
"We can not wait raffe! She is my mate and soon to be Luna of the tribe and she's run off! Thinking only of herself!" I felt my eyes tear up a little and raffe spoke softly.

"Actually, she isn't thinking of herself..."
I looked at him with anger and sadness in my eyes.
"Last time I saw her she was trying to stop a war between heaven and hell that would destroy the whole world."
I stopped breathing for a few second as I looked away.

Labs P.O.V (Dylan)
(Explanation, Dylan is one of the lab people in the house where Nina is)

I walked down the corridor to Nina's room and looked through the little window on the door.
She was lying on her back on the floor. for a second I was a little worried.
I walked back up the corridor and up the stairs into a massive white room.

"How is she?" Asks dan.
Dan was wearing a long white (now red) lab coat. his long blond hair was tied back in a small bun. he wore gloves that were smeared with blood. his green eyes looked into mine waiting for a reply.
"She's still asleep." I answered back.
He nodded and when back to the vamp/ wolf.
With the blood of the immortals we might be able to live forever. and without even trying.
I looked in the mirror to my right along the wall. my brown eyes looked shaken and my hands looked bloody. I washed my hands the tide my brown hair back in a small bun.
If it wasn't for Nina being a vampire/ werewolf. she would be the most attractive girl I had ever met.

I put on my white lab coat and walk back down to Nina's camber.
I opened the door and slid into the room. picking Nina up she weighed as light as a feather.
It all went so fast.
She leaped out of my arms and bit my neck. I tried to scream but nothing came out. no noise. the sound of her teeth chomping down on my neck was the only noise I could hear.
I felt the blood from my neck run down my chest. I was paralyzed. I felt like I couldn't move as the world and the pain started to fade. I didn't feel her let go of me. but the fuzzy world around me became a black swirl of mystery.

Nina's P.O.V

I stud there over the lab guy. he was lying on the cold hard cement. blood poring out of his neck. I heard his heart beat slow right down before stopping completely.
"No mercy..." I whispered.
Opening the door and walking down the corridor.
"Hey." someone whispered to my left. I looked over and a man... maybe in his 20s looking back at me through the little window.

I walked to the door unlocking the steal door. I disappeared and reappeared in front of him with the labrat.
Throwing the limp carcass onto the guys feet.
"Feed." I said to the vampire in front of me.
"Free the others I'll take care of the lab rats." I said with no expression at all.
I walked down the corridor and opened the door. the boy working on a werewolf had his back to me.
"Did you get her?" He asked not looking at me.
I walked to him. grabbing his neck and snapping it completely.
I leaned over the hybrid and cut my wrist. shoving it in his mouth. he broke from the chains keeping him there.
The door across the room swung open and a wooden stake came flying at me. with years of experience I gabbed it just before it hit skin.

The vampires and wolfs bolted out of the cellar as I helped the hybrid off the table. the hunter reloaded and shot again. killing a vampire.
I leaped at him and changed into wolf. ripping his throat out.
I moved out of the way so the weak vampires could feed.
Still in wolf form I walked out of the door. out into the open space.
The woods ahead of me. the open air above me. and the hard ground below me.
I slowly walked to the forest entrance and stopped.

Cody emerged from the forest. changing back to my human form, I starred him down.
"Look silence. Im sorry I didn't help. I should have, but I didn't. is there anything.... and I mean anything I can do to pay you back."
I stud there not saying a word.
I walked passed him and just as I did I stopped.
"You can do two things for me." I say.
Cody turned to face me.
"You can stop thinking of you and I kissing, and you can leave me alone."
I walked on.
Before I new it Cody had grabbed my hand. he swung me around and snaked his arm around me and pulled me against his chest.
At that moment I brought my elbow up into his throat. he let go of me and stumbled back. I grabbed his hair and pulled his head down into contact with my knee.

"You wanna try that again pretty boy!?" I was angry. why the hell did he do that? Like seriously.
I brought out my wings and dived into the sky. leaving Cody on the ground. I flew back to the pack house.

Landing a few steps from the door I stud there for a few minuets.
Brent. what will he think.
That I've run off. that I've..... left him.

I walked slowly towards the door. this was the second time I had been to the pack house.
All the times id been to that separate house in the woods and only now I'm realizing the beauty of the pack house.

I turned the knob and opened the door. eyes were all on me. eyes that judged me. I walked into the house. the wolfs parted and let me see Brent.

Oh Brent..... what have I done...
