Xie Lians pov:
I woke up to see the water above me. The suns rays shown down on me. There wasn't a single fish in sight is I lied there.. Sea grass was tickling my back as the natural currents slowly dragged me farther from where I first closed my eyes.
I sat up and looked around not knowing where I was or how I had gotten here. The last thing I remember was laying down in an abandoned cave. There may have been a clam or two but nothing to drag me out.
The water around me got warmer and heavier as I swam up to the surface to look around. It was only then that I realized how close I was to land. I saw humans not to far from me. Some on white floating buildings and others just floating around. Two or three were on what looked like colorful drift wood.
Though one of those few humans caught my eye. And seeing how I have no clue as to where my home is, I might as stay to watch. I swam over to a group of rocks to hide behind while watching the human on his red and white board. I had the perfect view as the other humans were all leaving. He stayed behind longer.
I noticed the bottom of his board had weird lines and got a closer look from underneath, being 89% sure the man couldn't see me.
"E-Ming.." I said aloud as the man started swimming back to the land. 'Is that his name..? E-Ming?'————————————————
I swam around the new area, looking for a place where I could stay. That is until I found another cave. Though this cave had a mini beach inside. The cave was huge too.
At the top of the cave there were large vines. I took some of the vines down and tied them the ones that were still hanging to make something to sleep on. The net I would sleep on was hanging low enough into the water, so I wouldn't dry out.
There were a few starfish, urchins and small clams but they weren't a problem. They were there first. Besides, I just wanted the mini beach and the surrounding water.I really only eat fish nearby so it wasn't much of an issue finding decent sized ones swimming farther out from the beach. I then found myself hanging in the net I put together as the water stayed at comfortable level around my tail and waistline.
